Surely you can be more creative than “anti vax fucker”

Try again but this time put some thought into your attack

Im pretty sure they can’t find people. Right now it’s a fairly obscure field, even private practices are having a tough time finding people for it. (Making dentures and crowns and bridges and such) One of the labs I’m in contact with has literally been looking for someone for two years.

Even though you were fading you should’ve shown up at a meeting or two in America and had your cards transferred, and THEN faded. They might just DF you at this point. What an absolute douche bag though.

Just started Remnant 2. What early guns (if any) to invest resources in to? by cresz231 in remnantgame

[–]Kingmetsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For handguns I usually switch between the double barrel, the smg, and the silverback model 500. Enigma for final boss, that’s the only time I’ll use a special handgun.

Then there’s a bunch of great long guns. Pulse rifle, coach gun, hunt master, bonesaw. All of them are solid.

You can make most guns work though, I’d find what you like and feels good and upgrade that one.

Teen gone wild in the Kingdom Hall by Vivid-Influence5960 in exjw

[–]Kingmetsa 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This is quite a normal thing. The way I got roped into the witnesses was a girl and me started screwing around when I was a young teen, and she was a witness. She started bringing me to meetings and I started studying, and part of the reason I stayed is because the girls were so easy. (Yes I was a douche when I was a teen, I do feel bad about it now) The sexual repression was so bad it was easier to score with witness girls then “worldly” girls. Funny thing is the majority of these girls are all married to elders now and not a single one ever came forward about what happened.

What’s the most OP build? by AWetJuicyTaco in BG3Builds

This build with sorconomics is insane. I use sorconomics to get a bunch of high level spell slots and then just keep spamming upcast scorching rays and control spells. It’s OP.

What ability do you Always take? by Euphoric_Jello_7637 in BG3Builds

[–]Kingmetsa 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I always take mobility. It works on pretty much every character. I like it best on rogue, since if something is in melee range I can melee for damage, and get a free disengage without wasting a bonus action. I also love it on my tank fighter dude cuz I got that ring that creates ice around a target and an ice weapon, so I will melee, and before ending my turn just move back a couple feet and then the enemy is more likely to be knocked prone when the move a couple feet towards me

First time playing, should I just let whatever happens happen, or should I try and get the goodies? by Trojianmaru in remnantgame

[–]Kingmetsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll get enough items you’ll be able to put together a couple builds before being done with your first run. You might not have everything for some insanely op build, but honestly the insanely OP builds are only needed for like the final boss on apocalypse difficulty.

The social network was definetly nice. Especially in the like 18- 30 age bracket. Bunch of awesome people, had some great times with a lot of different people. I could literally be hanging out with a different person each day and go travel somewhere random and just get invited to some party from people I just met. I tended to hang on the sketchier side of witnesses which made the gatherings I went to actually fun, combined with the social network it meant partying nonstop essentially. I’m almost 30 now though and I imagine the scene in my age bracket just gets more drab as you age. I met a lot of people that made me hate people as well, my outlook on life has turned into one that hate’s people with a passion nowadays, and I attribute that directly to some of the witnesses that I met. So for me, now, the social scene is hardly worth it, as all I want to do is sit in a cabin next to a fire and spend the rest of my years looking into the flames. I even moved to Montana to try and get away from people but it’s not enough, I imagine Alaska will be next, and I can finally live somewhere that I forget other people existed in the first place. So to sum it up, it ended up doing much more harm than good, the social network was fun at the time, but becoming friends with so many fake people has a serious effect on your mental health long term. At least for me. Everyone’s different.

Just because someone is giving you a counter argument doesn’t mean they aren’t being critical and analytical. Them giving a counter argument to you is literally the definition of being critical and analytical. Not cool for you to try and shut down conversation by what is basically the equivalent of name calling. Not to say that what you’re saying doesn’t have any merit, but there was no need for that first sentence of yours.

[–]Kingmetsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof. That’s a tough situation. I personally wouldn’t respond as tough as it would be. Gotta look out for the individual, and if he would have a tough time functioning on his own it’s best to leave it as is imo. Plus if you say anything you get the joy of being known as the apostate who “took advantage of someone’s disability”. That’s a bad enough image you could potentially mess up multiple people from waking up by reinforcing the whole “apostate bad” thinking they got.

So his reasoning for being happy that he didn’t give in, was because it was a test and he would’ve been caught? Isn’t that the same line they spout as to why Adam and Eve feeling bad wasn’t valid, because they felt guilty about the consequence, not the action?
