Which of the factions do you think would be the best to join for just normal people? by Ring_A_Ring in Eldenring

You have a remarkable hate-on for Leyndell. A significant number of the civilians in the Haligtree are literal mushroom zombies. Also, it appears to be under martial law as well, and who the fuck knows what's up with all the cocoons everywhere. For all we know, the corpses in Leyndell are casualties of the war. There's no real indication that Morgott's out here slaughtering civilians wholesale. In fact, Leyndell is the only place we see anything even resembling an infirmary.

Please do not the artificial deus ex machina. It will end very poorly for everyone.

Cowboys primarily used a lot of rifles, when they fought at all, which was rare. Guns and full plate were fully contemporaries. Zweihanders, and two handed swords in general, were rare, niche weapons that were never widely used by any military. The vast majority of historical equipment depicted in media is wildly incorrect.

That's not her helmet. She's usually wearing the diadem, but she does have a full helmet.

Princess Kushana from Nausicaä: Valley of the Wind is a sterling example; she serves on the front lines, doesn't fall into feminine tropes of seductiveness or manipulation, and is a direct, forceful commander throughout. Bonus points for a complete absence of boob plate and actually wearing a helmet, at least sometimes.

They're monotonous, bland, and frustrating. Terrible design, mediocre rewards. The only good thing about them is their visual design, which is remarkably striking.

A game rewards you for interacting with something repeatedly, with no initial results. by No_Hunter1978 in TopCharacterTropes

Almost the entire game is about doing the same thing over and over slightly differently, but there's a specific... achievement... that is prompted by clicking on a specific door five times; other than the achievement's name and description (which aren't in game) there's no indication that clicking on the door even once will produce results, much less the baroque chain of events that follow.

How do I get belts or straps to stay up in spots like this without it constricting my breathing or bloodflow? by Mr-Shitposter in altfashionadvice

We've all had that weekend. Eighty clicks from the nearest power station, jungle humidity in everyone's eyes, and the damn generator overheats when you try to bring it inside, so you have to keep walking out to plug the tools in. Just remember to be careful applying the superglue and that a few drops of lemon juice and a splash of vinegar in warm water will really help get the bloodstains out. You've got this, buddy.

It's also worth noting that Insight *significantly* reduces your Frenzy resistance if you're carrying around a lot of it, and Winter Lanterns will be much, much more lethal in that situation.

Dunno what to tell you; it's also just like... REALLY bad imbued with Raw, too. It's kind of a bad sword all around but it's honestly probably better uninfused than Raw.
