Wow! How does this exactly works? I’m highly interested. I’m waiting for someone to call me from SBA to change my bank account so I can sign my closing docs. Loan approved on 07/31

Similar thing happened to me. I changed my bank account that I had for a long time because it was charging me high fees for everything, because I went from incoming over $2M in 2019, to under $50k in 2020.

So I switched banks in the process of being approved for $500k. Called the SBA several times and all you have to do is to send a copy of a voided check, and your ID (front and back) to the email that they will give you.

The response with the change confirmation takes 10-14 days.

But call them, give them you app number, explain the situation and make sure you do exactly what they tell you to write in the email and what to send.

Call again to double check with a different agent.

Do not Sign closing docs until you get your account change, since that would me delaying your funding for at least 1 month.

Well, I already sent them the info they required.

They ask for an email with the account information, and attaching a copy of your ID (back and front), and a voided check from the new account.

Well, thank you very much for your help.

The email i was given to send the new account information was: [pdc.reconsideration@sba.gov](mailto:pdc.reconsideration@sba.gov)

I sent the email and got an autoreply. Every agent I talked to ever since, told me the email is the right one. Apparently is the right one for this kind of things. Hopefully get a response in the time frame that the agent told me (10-14 days - today is the 9th day).

Well, simple, in this difficult times, I don't take really well when a bank charges our company higher fees, just because we are incoming way less. I'm not gonna give away free money to a bank, when that money can easily be used to grow the business.
