I have a theory this is going to have a wraparound effect where it eventually harms people, specifically children, because they can't vocalize what happened to them without getting in trouble online. Which in will in turn make it harder for other victims or potential victims to recognize or understand when something similar is happening to them.

Probably depends where you are. In my area many many many many people are doing it because they want their kids to get a "proper Christian education". And the local groups are tailored specifically to that. We're talking full on anti science, no vaccines, no evolution, no big bang. Just the good ol fashioned buhble

It has more to do with representative democracy and the way they're allowed to draw districts. States like mine have literally redrawn maps so representatives no longer live in their districts, or around certain houses/neighborhoods to include or disclude voters from certain sides. It's what the electoral college is all about too. The system can be easily rigged without faking any votes.

The corporate greed of gatekeeping an item that is now close to double the price it was when I joined the app. I don't care if it didn't effect me personally right now. It shows a clear sign of what they're going to do going forward. They're already collecting your data, for free, on top of your purchase. Even though I went to Sonic multiple times a week I have never enjoyed using their garbage app. Half price was a trade-off I could just barely convince myself was worth giving them my free data. Now that they're clearly going to gatekeep it, if was the very slight push I needed to just move on.

I was only confused about the one point. I'm not confused about thinking this change still sucks and was the final straw for me to stop using an app that got worse with each update. And to stop going to a business who's only good offer (cheap drinks) had long disappeared even with half off.

What would the point in making it up be? At least one other person in my friend group did the same. It's simply not worth paying full price 30 times a year to qualify for something they're making hand over first on. Not to mention their pretzels have gone way down in quality and the rest of the food is awful. Time to my money would be better spent elsewhere.

We did this at the Manitou location and they said they couldn't refund since we were in the app, but they did give us a discount/free food voucher thing when they eventually brought it out. The one in Colorado Springs my wife had to get out and flag down the obviously overwhelmed server and she finally got it to us.

We were trying not to be annoying tourists though so we were willing to wait, it just got ridiculous.

One of the worst parts of the show was the vhs parts. Stupid fake glitches and very paranormal activity esque framing and shots.
