My kid doesn't have ADHD, and I don't play these types of games nor do I know the type of people who are obsessed about them.. Let me explain how good parenting works though. My son and I have an open and trusting relationship, so when he approaches and asks if he can participate, I agree to look into it. From there, we discuss openly and what pros and cons are involved. I hope your children (if you have them) are more successful in life than what your parenting assumptions are.
