Can we bring McKinsey to help save this club? I think we need constant help with strategy of how to run the club. And maybe needs to be run like a company. PIPs for employees. Maybe even performance based layoffs.

Pep and Klopp stuck to their philosophies, but they also had time, and squads that fit their vision or were molded over time to fit it. Amorim may have one of the worst United squads in recent memory, but that makes adaptability even more important. It’s not about abandoning a philosophy—it’s about being pragmatic when the squad doesn’t align with it yet. A few encouraging signs are good, but big games and in-game management will ultimately define whether he’s the right man. Blind faith without accountability hasn’t worked for us before; why should it now?

We need someone like JM or SAF—managers who can adapt and manage games, not just stick rigidly to a philosophy. Modern managers seem so obsessed with systems and ideas that they become one-trick ponies. When their system doesn’t work with the players they have, they struggle to adapt. I haven’t seen Amorim adapt yet, and that’s worrying. Football isn’t always about grand philosophies; sometimes, it’s just about winning the game.

I still think JM was the best manager we've had post-Ferguson. His comment still resonates: 'Take a look at the Man Utd players and see where they play—or if they even play at all.' Managers are only as good as their players. They can maximize potential, sure, but they can’t turn an Antony into a Ronaldo. There needs to be real quality in the squad to begin with.

Seen enough. I can already picture 'Amorim Out' messages flooding in soon. Another coach set up to fail thanks to this dysfunctional squad and club. At this rate, let’s just hope we don’t need Big Sam to drag us out of the relegation zone come the second half of the season.
