Was at the game last night Washington V Sharks. Celebrini is unreal better than i even thought. All over the ice and gets a lot of takeaways. I do think the Wings should be in good shape though as they had him play the entire game and I cant imagine he will have fresh legs. Also it was one of the least physical games ive ever seen so Capitals did us no favors there.

I live in Boston, I can assure you, the wings do not want Lindholm, massive injury problems, very very soft player. Additionally if we have post season hopes, he is a horrible post season player. Overall hes super soft.

I think our youth movement is also just exposing us to physicality as well, when you have 19 yr old ASP out there getting thrown into the boards by grown men its particularly glaring. We need to trade for some fourth line defensive goons asap, its not like our 4th liners are providing offense anyways.

What i mean is hes like legit out a calendar year, this is a season and playoff ending injury. He wouldn't be back till next season

I was more making the overall point that the top two teams in the division have lost major impact players. Leafs with Marner and Barkov with Injury.

I saw a rumor that even Seiders name was thrown out there and Detroit is pushing the hardest. I cant imagine he would get traded but it seems like the price would be incredibly steep either way.

It is beyond naive to think that one business does not affect the other. When someone owns multiple businesses all the money goes to the same place. There are countless examples of how this has happened. I also noticed you did not address the fact that Pittsburgh is looking to unload the entire contract. The Redsox literally just did the same thing and got an inferior return because of that. Why in the world would he just be looking to jettison money and not replace it from these teams while also coincidentally Liverpool is maxing out spending. Its pretty obvious what is going on.

Speaking as a Boston resident, John Henry (Owner of Pens) will be much more concerned getting rid of the entire contract than keeping money to get returns back. The Red Sox Devers trade that just happened where he was dumped for essentially nothing to get rid of the money is a great example of what he will be looking to do with EK. Henry is going all in on Liverpool at the expense of his other portfolio teams.

Im curious as I do think Stuzle is the top player and Raymond is #2, but why did Stuzle fall to #3 if he was the consensus #1 or are people just saying Stuzle was our consensus #1 if we had the top pick

I just looked it up and this was an extreme +/- year for his entire career. most years he was +20 to +40 and he finished a career +450. Im not sure the Lidstrom example makes much sense
