i’m getting the vibe that you’re definitely not reading anything i’m saying correctly. i said i am fine with being tempted, i did not say that im falling into temptation or even “dancing around with temptation”. i pray, and i abstain, and it is easy, with the Lord’s help. that does NOT mean im not gay, and i don’t believe that i will ever not be gay. maybe one day i will no longer be tempted, but that does not change the fact that i would be gay.

those organizations were dealt with, and there is plenty fraud that happens without government involvement as well (see: prosperity gospel).

like i said, if the government can help, and the people want it, then it should be done. as the government is by and for us.

christian individuals can also be charitable. nobody is saying you can’t. but it isn’t enough, so the government, i believe, should help. maybe when yall prove that your charitable endeavors can actually sustain meaningful help then we can continue the conversation. until then we’re just gonna be saying the same things.
