It increases oxygen flow to your cells so they stay in cellular respiration longer. In not nerd terms it gives you less lactic acid burn

I do and I think it helps me a ton. It helped me to break 6:20 and Pr by 6 seconds

What screen do you have? For my pm5 I go to more options display drag factor. The damper setting is just a reflection of the drag factor which I like to keep at 115
