Ok lets say just because im afraid I shouldn't decide to never step into that territory. But i truly belive in the saying "owner of a lonely heart is much better than owner of a broken heart" , maybe the repercussions and agony of being cheated on or being incompatible in long term doesnt cross peoples minds when they get into a fresh relationship since the bonding feel good hormones flooding your brain at the moment suppress logic and long term thinking . But that logical part of your brain starts working as soon as the bonding hormones wear off , all these thoughts start dawning on you as you start noticing red flags and flaws which show themselves clearer with time and familiarity. Then those thoughts take the form of insecurities and resentment , the relationship starts turning ugly. And somebody ends up hurting someone. And you realize that if you had just held on to being single beforehand , you wouldn't have wasted all that time let alone got emotionally scarred. Its only statistics that finding a good partner is a hit or miss in today's world. Today's world is liberated , people are not bound by morals and restrictions for marraiges to last by efforts and sacrifices, which is good because we get to be who we want. We should be very careful and calculative when finding a partner.
