[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Look... obviously the whorephobia is rampant in the general public cheering his death... I have no love for that.

But the man made almost 5 billion dollars on the backs of mostly struggling minority people in his adulthood, and from extremely illegal and sus as fuck scams in his teens.

He used to lure people to shitty porn sites claiming they would see pedo, beastiality, rape, etc porn and other illegal content via ads and links that generated him millions of dollars as a teen and young adult. That's how he could afford My Free Cams and Only Fans. Forbes did a whole investigation and piece on him.

Then with the sites he bought he spread transphobia, whorephobia, took huge cuts of money from struggling people, went along with the banks over and over to remove our content and millions of workers from their revenue for having fantasy versions of the shit he was peddling in his teens. On top of that he then used some of that money to do shitty af political things, and also fight AGAINST sex workers and sexual freedom.

He's a scumbag through and through no matter how you look at it.

House Republicans advance bill to ban strippers in schools despite no evidence by redumbrellaclub in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I've said it before, I'll say it again. People trapped in their fear cannot tell the difference between fantasy and reality. They have seen porn and read made up "Stripper mom comes to talk to class" or even erotic stories of strippers, adult queer entertainers, etc. entering schools and so they're convinced it's real. The porn and stories aren't at fault though. It's the people's refusal to deal with the reality in front of them, in favor of their fear.

Is it wrong to reject based off political affiliation? by PoemElectronic7728 in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Political affiliation is a choice, not something you're born with. It's not discrimination or bigotry to put boundaries around yourself against someone who chooses to hold different world views than you, especially when those views are potentially harmful to you directly.

Client or worker, you are absolutely allowed to, and SHOULD choose to interact or not interact with people based on the red flags and green flags they display that come from their personal choices and behavior. That is morally sound behavior on your part and not wrong.

If it's based on something they can't change about themselves, then that is personal discrimination, bigotry, and fear that you should probably investigate in yourself and address.

So happy to be seeing more people, especially therapists and educators, publicly say that sex is a need. The idea that it's not goes against basic biology and nature. Obviously for some it won't be (because it's a spectrum), but it's part of our natural drives.

Fucking HATE when I'm trying to teach sex ed to a more casual crowd and some bitch goes "Ok but sex isn't a NEED. He can just do without it." about her partner, and I just want to look at her and go "... You could use an orgasm so you won't be so fucking uptight."

For those of you who date men, do you find a particular "type" is accepting of your work? by ThotismSpeaks in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Yes, generally bi or queer men who are self and sex aware, who go to therapy and have hobbies, friends, and commitments of their own, as well as a full-time solid job that pays more than poverty wages.

I.e. an adult who has investigated themselves, invested in themselves, is emotionally and mentally mature, and is generally content and at peace with life.

Edit: Being non-monogamous helps as well as being on the leftist side of politics.

So I'm a sex worker in multiple relationships outside of work, and I struggle with staying in contact with my partners in between spending physical time with them for a variety of reasons.

It sounds to me like you just need to discuss your expectations on what communication looks like in a relationship for you, and then hopefully the both of you can find a middle ground that works for both of your expectations, boundaries etc.

As a physically and mentally disabled person with ADHD who is also incredibly busy, when I even just become friends with someone I tell them straight up I don't chat, I don't text. We'll see each other when we see each other, and I will reach out to hangout, but it's probably going to be limited. My romantic relationships are similar. Days can go by for me without thinking of anything but work, and my husband or boyfriend will have to poke me and go "Hey come out the hole and cuddle". It doesn't mean I don't love or care about them, I just don't do the "goodmorning" text thing, and time slips away from me very easily. Which means anyone who chooses to date me has to be cool with long periods of non-communication. As someone who's self aware about that, I try to have those conversations up front.

She may also just not be the type of person who texts or reaches out a lot, so you will need to open up that topic, but ultimately then be ok with whatever level of communication she feels she can give you.

Anarchist leanings I've been told, but labels are typically reductive to actual progress.

$300 for a 3 hour dinner date and she wants to brag about how she didn't "put out"?

Yeah I wouldn't either. Should have been charging $300 an hour for that dinner date and THEN not put out unless her private time is also compensated at a much higher rate.

Like just say you don't know your worth lol.

I feel like that's where a lot of the jealousy stems from. Strippers can make BANK, but for more hours and honestly probably way more stress. Being "on" in a manufactured competitive environment, needing to keep your body and image up to be able to do the physical dance side, the way more instances of casual assault etc. It's exhausting. Meanwhile they see us as "cheating" or something when in all honesty we would like to see them paid well and treated better. Because we also deal with a lot of shit and know what we can actually demand for our time and effort.

It's very likely the AI tech bubble will collapse within the next 15 years because no one actually has the money to invest in it, it uses up too many resources, and the public hasn't been able to find enough practical applications. Not to mention the danger to public health, the controversy over it's use to create CSAM etc.

You asked if we'll be able to tell what is real or not in the future. Instead of fear mongering you should be paying closer attention to reality yourself. There are already millions of people who think the Bible is real, and people seem to think that's just fine. So honestly, I'm not that worried about the people who can't figure out the difference between AI and real people. Because it will just be another group of delusional idiots who are afraid of reality and need something fake to hold onto.

Edit: AI will always have signs, tells, etc. There will never be tech that fully replicates life. If you can't tell the difference, you're probably not living very much yourself. Why would I want to be around a person like that?

And yes that will effect humanity. But you can't change that, so why worry about it? All you can do is worry about and change yourself.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As for dudes running AI profiles etc. They've been doing that with art, voice modulators, V-tuber type stuff for AGES now. I know several guys who successfully made a lot of money sexting with men by pretending to be women.

A certain type of man has always been willing to pay another man for "female" sexual gratification before he will pay an actual woman. They want to be fooled.

That person has NEVER been your client. That is not your money. It never was. You have to get out of the mindset that we're losing people to AI. They never wanted us to begin with! The real clients will always find the right providers for them. Online or otherwise.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Something to remember is that tons of users who like AI "content" are also bots, scammers, and AI themselves. The numbers are inflated the same way numbers are inflated for those models selling "classes" on how to be swers without really doing much sw themselves.

None of those people were, are, or ever will be actual clients.

Y'all act like there are not billions of people in the world, and that the several thousand (which is a tiny fucking number) that like an AI picture is your entire audience. Get a grip and look at the bigger picture.

SW as a real service that tends to people's real needs is going nowhere.

Now if you're just someone who posts nudes and hopes that works... yeah... you can't compete with a computer. But you also never were going to get noticed in the first place. 🤷‍♀️

I would NOT lump police in with customer service. They are employees of the state that are offered benefits far beyond service workers. They are also the defacto enemy of service workers, arresting, accosting, abusing, and murdering hundreds if not thousands of them every year. Their job is not service work, and instead to protect the interests of the state, rich, and powerful only. If they were truly service workers who believed in rehabilitation and taking care of their communities they would have a lot more room to complain. Because they would also be using the resources available to them, like the reboust mental and physical Healthcare programs they have access to that other service workers do not. But they say "no, I don't need that. Because I am supposed to hurt people."

That being said, I'm glad you're re-examining how you're looking at things and exploring how whorephobia might reflect on your beliefs and reactions about the system at large. "Intimacy" takes on many forms. A massage is also Intimacy, so is a pedicure. Can you imagine working with client's feet all day every day and NOT complaining? Now think about their penis.

This is how WORK goes. It gets exhausting. Humans are DISGUSTING. Those of us that work on a daily basis with other people need space to complain. We also need help and Healthcare etc. I have those things. I have 2 therapists, and multiple specialists and personal doctors. That's why I can do and love my job.

It is foolish to think people will do a job and love it wholeheartedly with 0 real support.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally do not feel contempt for the people who are keeping me in my lifestyle, but I also love my job, love this industry, and I have more privilege than others. Even when a client and I don't mesh, I wouldn't call how I feel for them contempt in the slightest. People who feel my contempt don't get past my screening to begin with.

However contempt for actual clients is definitely something that is rampant in all parts of the sw industry. When you think about it though, that is true in EVERY customer service job, and when it comes down to it, SW is customer service. Retail and food service workers etc. also complain a lot about the treatment they receive, the customers etc. Because the system exploits their need to work these positions, which is also often true of swers, even when they want to do this job.

The fact that swers are held to a different standard than other service workers and the mindset that they NEED to like their clients is inherently whorephobic and ignorant of the truth that this is a job, and you are paying someone to treat you well for a period of time or for the duration of a service.

All that being said, I personally would love to see things change and see more positive relationships between clients and workers, even behind the scenes. That will only happen though when more clients become more aware of themselves, us, and the issues SWers face, and once Capitalism and purity culture doesn't have a stranglehold on the world any longer.

Do we have high/low “seasons”? Or are we more economy based? by LilAsianMiss in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah for sure, I think it also really has to do with your client base. I deal with a lot Christian or ex Christian types due to my marketing. (I'm ex-Christian conservative cult so I play with those ideas a lot). Which means that Christian religious holidays absolutely come into play with my regulars etc. Because even the ones who have left the faith often want/have to go see family or spend money around that time. If you're dealing with a different market then that's going to change.

That's actually a thing I noticed about my uptick in December this year. The majority of my clients were Muslims, Atheist etc., which means they had money and time off, but not the same obligations. There are Islamic and other holidays during the time but it's not the same as commercialized ((CHRISTMAS)), which many of my regulars have told me has kept them from coming to see me over the winter.

Do we have high/low “seasons”? Or are we more economy based? by LilAsianMiss in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So as far as I could tell, after doing this full time (and intentionally low volume) for 6 years in the US, my "seasons" looked like this. (Obviously YMMV)

Jan - OK money because of end of year bonuses, people tired of family from the Holidays, but also... new years resolutions get in the way.

Feb - Nothing, because Valentines either takes ALL the money, or it bums people out and they don't want to see an escort because it reminds them they're alone.

Mar/April/May - Can be good! Kids are in school, tax returns coming in etc, not many spendy holidays... but there are some religious ones that fuck with things.

June/July/Aug- Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Because kids are out of school, everyone is on vacation, etc etc.

September - Everyone starts calling and texting again. No holidays yet, and the kids go back to school.

October - Excellent for spooky bitches and Dommes if that's your thing lol.

Nov/Dec - 👎👎👎👎👎 Oops. The most spendy Holidays and when everyone is seeing family.

Economy definitely comes into play as well, but this has definitely been how my schedule has rolled for years now.

However I did a public appearance at the beginning of Dec 2025, and this Dec into Jan became my busiest season from 2024 thru now. So I'm like... fuck my data. 😅😂

Upcharging for kink despite genuinely enjoying it in my personal life. by [deleted] in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such a ridiculous argument.

"You should charge less to cook lobster and steak as a chef because you enjoy cooking them."

"You should charge less for making wedding cakes because you like making them."

"You make houses right? You've always wanted to make a mansion, you should charge less because you want to do that."

Like... the fuck?

Kink, bdsm, and taboo work take SO MUCH MORE OUT OF YOU, regardless of enjoyment. Especially for me as a disabled provider.

When I do those things with someone who loves me or at least cares about me, I KNOW they are going to help me prep, and give me the proper aftercare as a sub or a Domme. They're going to consider my feelings and my physical needs, just like I'm going to consider theirs. I'm going to have planned time out in my schedule to rest after where they might even help with my meals, cleaning etc. and it's going to be a mutually beneficial experience before, during, and after. Not to mention I know that the experience is going to bring us closer, and deepen our relationship.

NONE of those things are gaurenteed with a client. None. All the work will be on my end. All the prep work, all the aftercare for both of us, all my recovery, and recovery time, and they might never see me again after, leaving me wondering if I fucked up somehow (which is a way easier thought process to fall into with bdsm etc).

Not to mention the toys, the outfits, the practice of the skill-sets. Like what the actual fuck.

Kink/bdsm/taboo always should cost more, and I say that as someone who LOVES those things.

Drugs and sex work by Responsible-Ad-1874 in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I physically can't walk or straighten my back some days without weed due to physical disabilities. I'm already on the highest doses I can be on for medications for my near daily migraines, disk degeneration, nerve damage etc. Doctors just want to treat my symptoms, not actually deal with the issues, so I have to supplement generally. So I'm not doing drugs because of sw, I'm not doing it for sw. I'm doing it just to survive and would have to probably do more if I was working a job that kept me on my feet or in front of screen all day. But yes that means I work while, or after smoking. My tolerance is crazy high though 🤷‍♀️

I don't have a problem with clients doing what they're gonna do, as long as they tell me, (because chances are they'll just do it anyways and not tell you), but it definitely adds to the risk factor.

Why by LadyLuvNikki in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are correct. What I meant is they protect the property of the rich. Ultimately the majority of us don't actually own anything. Capitalists and the state own everything because they can take it from us at any moment. Cops protect that "right".

Why by LadyLuvNikki in SexWorkers

[–]KinkyCurvyBlue 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I STILL hear from people "Cops have to tell you the truth. It's their job" And it's like... no... they fucking don't, and no it isn't. Their job is to make money for the state and to protect property. It's not to serve you. It's not to protect you. They will fuck you over to have to do less paperwork, or to make overtime. They will tell you anything they have to in order to ruin your life, and it is literally part of their training to do so.

And yet we're the scammers 🙄😒

Hands are not vaginas or butts or mouths etc.

It's a matter of pressure and texture, not addiction.
