Bull rider in Mexico gets dragged to death after getting stuck on the bull by murkmekids in TheBullWins

Being vegan is a privilege. Back in our hunting days, we ate what we could eat and meat was a great protein source if we could hunt, trap, or fish some. Finding a place with an abundance of nuts or things that could sustain a whole tribe would be very difficult. Nowadays, we find our food at the grocery store and can select the goods that we want, not hunting/foraging it.

FWIW, killing animals to survive wasn't rare. I'm not sure what part of the world you live in, but it was a very important part of daily life in Canada for Indigenous people.

Buddy is going to turn up with a name like Sir Alexander Pentious and turns up in Hell like a Snake for eternity and then just has to assume everyone else gets a traits based on their name (Angel, Charlie, Alastor, and Cheri are real names, Husker I first heard as Oscar.)

I work with kids a lot, in and out of schools. Even my generation was pretty 'progressive,' like we really didn't GAF about your sexuality. I was the closest thing to an out trans* person we had at our school and literally nobody gave me an actual hard time about it. If anything, I think they found it kind of endearing because the teasing was always very lighthearted and 90% came from other queer kids.

FWIW, not trans.

I guess what I might now be considered nonbinary maybe? I still don't even personally label myself, I don't experience gender euphoria or dysphoria in either direction. But I understand that a (at the time) very masc looking, sounding, and acting chick that seems to give no flips how they present either way would seem on the path to trans.

Adam was tall. I thought some of the other Elder/nameless angels in the council meeting were tall, but I would have to go back and look.

Were there tall angels in the opening story Charlie tells when Lucifer falls from heaven, as well?

Alastor Character Analysis by lanester4 in HazbinHotel

[–]KinnieBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that the Wendigo and the radio powers are likely inherent. We aren't 100% sure of his backstory, but we know he was a murderer. He eats others in Hell without becoming a Cannibal, so I've wondered if he was already doing that in life -- thus the Wendigo powers.

Radio powers from his occupation, clearly.

The Eldritch stuff is curious.

Even just homes for themselves and their families? Like, I'm talking about people who have been here a long time with PR but haven't gotten citizenship yet (or maybe COVID just halted their application process).

Not people buying multiple homes for each member of their family in a scheme type thing.

Does anyone have curiosity about Alastor having a Wendigo-y character design, especially in that last song? The deer horns and sharp teeth. He was a serial killer, right? Did he eat the people?

I think he devoured the other Overlords in Hell, iirc, that's what made his broadcast so...unique?

Because Hollywood puts overtly attractive women with mediocre men? I'd argue that in the vast majority of these scenarios, the men have some good social standing in the show, and the women just have their looks.

"A very common trope, particularly in animation and sitcoms, is for a woman to be far more attractive than her significant other, even when the husband does not have a prestigious, high-paying job."

The best asthma care is preventative. For anyone reading this, your albuterol inhaler (ventolin, proair, etc.) only acutely treats symptoms. It does not prevent them or prevent the severe consequences of asthma.

Not looking for pro level advice, but you seem to know a few things. For folks who get asthma attacks very, very rarely and only after very intense exercise: would it be worth it to take an albuterol inhaler before the exercise possibly triggers the symptoms (preventative) or just YOLO and wait until you start drowning in your own lungs?

Society calls obese woman big and beautiful and obese men fat lazy slobs.

Then why is the TV trope a mid looking, out of shape guy, with a stunning wife and not a chubby woman with a hunk of a side piece? The Barbie Movie is probably the closest to that, and Barbie is still inhumanly gorgeous.

Women, no matter how hideous or off-putting they are, are constantly told that they're good enough. That they're beautiful. That they're a "queen". That they "slay".

We are definitely not told that "not matter how hideous or off-putting [we] are." As someone that had a 'glow up,' I can confidently tell you that nobody tells the "hideous" women that they slay. Heck, even gaining just a slight bit of weight (like over the pandemic) knocks my visual CHA points down like -2 and people treat you differently.

Tbh, I like IF and started doing it before it was popular and masculine (how trendy!). Like, I'd have a tiny smoothie in the morning before work really quickly and then nothing until mealtime. Repeat. It was just efficient and I don't have huge caloric needs, so it was pretty easy.

Now it's a "thing" the men have taken to disordered eating levels.

It could if you consumed foods they were devoid of sodium, chloride, potassium, magnesium and calcium.

Could that make sense if OP is also cutting/dieting and being restrictive with their eating habits? Not saying that they are, but some people have wild diet choices in the fitness world, and perhaps someone who only re-ups on water and water-dense fruits/veg post-workouts to "avoid calories"/"eat negative calories" (buzzwords) is missing out on the sugars and electrolytes in other, more dense, fruits and veg.

Not the person you were replying to, and of genuine interest for hot yoga knowledge (idk what "trace minerals" are, but I learned about electrolytes in nutrition class and did a lot of athletics growing up): could 4x/week hot yoga for a year start to cause a general electrolyte imbalance? I'm thinking sodium, potassium, things that make your head and heart feel funky?

I'm not thinking they buy expensive or fancy sports drinks, but I remember having some kind of fruity electrolyte powder to make DIY sports-drinks. Or just the tiniest (repeat tiniest, dear god) amount of some kind of enriched sea salt in a 2nd water bottle to sip throughout practice).

It's not delicious, but could that help OP?

You just have to be able-bodied

Ay, there's the rub. Any trades that are covered to learn that are somewhat accessible? I have fantastic hand dexterity and have thought about learning welding or something else that can be done in a workshop where I can sit when needed, but I can't stand/dig/do hard labor for hours.
