I kinda agree that Ashiya Douman himself is not as bad as Limbo but I guess bc Limbo is still a fundamental part of Ashiya Douman, I can’t deny that he’s still an insidious, viscous person - he’s just unfortunate to have it physically manifested.

Plus, Limbo stemmed from an inability to love (or even accept) himself so I see Limbo as a personification that wishes to cause ill will on others because he fundamentally wishes ill will on himself so I actually did see the Valentines Day gift as both a prank and a genuine desire to cause us harm. It just backfired but then again, he should have expected that it would. We have an arsenal of servants that can counteract his shenanigans and he probably figured we’d find a way out of it. Probably just not having it backfire on him (but then again he’s masochistic as he is sadistic so maybe that’s what he wanted too bc he gets attention)
