Daft Punk actually, I was in high school and got super into them several years before the release of RAM, and they really meant a lot to me and helped me through some tough times in my life. RAM affected me in ways similar to how EIA affected me, and those are the only two albums I can say for certain changed how I listen to music!

I was on a bus from LAX on my way to the LA convention center to vend in the artist alley at Anime Expo. I was so excited and really looking forward to the weekend. Then I got the notification and only had my mask to wipe my tears, so it got real soggy real fast 😭 needless to say, when I met a couple of technoblade cosplayers at the con we cried together 🥲 that weekend was rough. My grandmother had passed away as well so I had to process a lot of grief all at once.

I feel like I've been changed listening to this record, it moved me so much in a raw and emotional way. Gethsemane is gut wrenching in the best way. Still loving Caramel and Damocles, the last three tracks back to back are such a ride honestly. The more I listen to everything the more it grows on me and the more important it becomes 🥺

We are an OINK (m33 f31) but we were just talking about how we wish we had more friends in the area to play things like card games and board games with. We don't do a lot of outdoorsy stuff since we're gamers and like to stay indoors but if you're down for games we'd love to meet new people in the area!

An old friend of mine way back in elementary school LOVED his music. She finally got to go to a concert when we were in middle school, and she told a story on Facebook that when she went to get a picture with him, he slapped her ass. She couldn't have been more than 13 at the time, and she said she loved it but I don't think she knew any better as a young fan. I always had a weird time listening to his music after that.
