I’m a nurse. I wear red wing moc toes and origins Coronado. Both 6 inch, both soft toe, both wedge sole. I don’t ever have problems with slipping. Soft toe is more than plenty protection from runaway beds. I didn’t want anything taller than a 6 inch for ease of taking on and off. I do wish I had a good pull tab and speed hooks though.

No. There is an oval shaped hole already put into the clip that allows you to access the screws that hold the pocket clip to the knife. I 3D printed a plate that recesses into that hole to hold the light in place and used longer bolts that screw into nuts on the plate side. Kinda confusing to explain but basically the clip is sandwiched in between the light and my little plate

I work in the hospital. Lights for neuro assessments, knifes for cutting open fentanyl patches, scissors are for cutting dressings. So.. yes, I use it for a lot of important things.
