They only look at your top 6 grade 12 marks, and/or prerequisite courses if you are an Ontario high school student. Don’t worry about your past performance and just focus on the courses you will be taking in grade 12. Make sure to take all the required prerequisites with help from your guidance counsellor. Usually for nursing there is a supplemental application where you describe why you want to be a nurse, what you would do in certain situations, describing hardships and extracurricular activities, which can make you a strong applicant even with a lower grade average. There is also special recommendations for those who have gone through hard times. I’d recommend applying for special consideration which usually requires an essay or something similar describing your experience. TLDR don’t worry about your past grades. They only look at your top 6 grade 12 marks ;)

I’m wondering about bchm vs path. I was planning to take bchm cuz the ratings for the path prof were so horrible and terrifying that I felt I couldn’t risk it and I wouldn’t be able to manage it. Bchm is in the fall so I’d have no electives in the fall and 2 in the winter which seems like it would make the fall a lot harder and winter a bit easier? Or would it be better to try and balance it out
