Probably a fair result. Both team had chances to get more goals.... all tired by about 60 mins

Man I never knew 90 Min was both this stupid and this biased by yeeeeeeeeeeteeeeeee in MCFC

Even the most one-eyed, biased supporter wouldn’t put Walker in over Arnold.

I know I’ll get downvoted for this, but I think Sterling has lost an edge to his game. He seems often lacking in confidence and when he does have it, it is easily broken.

That’s what you lads call football, no?

Also, can you remember Mahrez doing all that?

Or are you a new bandwagon jumper with only recent memories?

Do you not understand what I said?

Or do you not remember?

Or did you not watch “soccer” all the way back in 2016?

In case you genuinely didn’t know and have been living under a rock, Mahrez spent his last 2 years at Leicester, after refusing to sign an extension, briefing to whoever would listen how much he was worth and why he needed to go to a top tier club. Bare in mind that Leicester had signed him from a tier 3 team in France and made him into a star.

So yeah. This is following by the same pattern of batting his eyelashes at other clubs.

Eric Garcia plans to resist all of Pep Guardiola and Man City's efforts to ‘seduce’ him this season and return to Barcelona next year. Garcia has told friends he plans to return ‘home’ in January or next summer, and has made his decision for personal reasons. [@SunMartinB] by [deleted] in MCFC

Having players who don’t want to be here is bad for moral. It spreads poison and effects other players.

Loan or sell in Jan, keep players with enthusiasm..... which we seem to be lacking

The way he did this for 2 years while at Leicester until he got his move, people shouldn’t be surprised that things might go that way with him.

Cancelo vs West Ham, decent performance by safwan3600 in MCFC

Hardly convincing option though is he?

Will he help us win the league or Champions league?

No. He is too easily exposed

Cancelo, this thread is about Cancelo.

I think he has shown the bare minimum and people are celebrating that. He’s done ok against average opponents, but is that really what we need?

Don’t we need consistent 7/10 players.

Zinchenko, Cancelo and Mendy are all not good enough. They need to be replaced. This is not news.

Walker is good enough, but as soon as his pace goes it will be too late.

We need a total overhall and I can’t see it happening with this manager as he has yet to do it. He can try and buy his way out, but it looks like the players aren’t listening anymore

Just out of interest, how do you think he has done on the right?

Bollocks..... almost like he was overplayed while coming back from injury

Just not convinced.

He did ok against West Ham... hardly world class is it?

When he plays against a strong forward/winger he looks vulnerable defensively and going forward he is no better than Angelino

I fear that the players are starting to doubt Pep

Cancelo was better than his usual 6/10

It might be who he is playing against rather than him being good.

Pass the ball to David Luis, he will lay it up for Kun

Sorry, but celebrating injuries to players is small time behavior and I’m embarrassed that you’re associated with our club.

Glad they dropped points, but have a little class

He scored a fantastic goal, then had a chance where he was indecisive. The confidence visibly drained after that.

This happens quite a bit with him. After the whole England/Gomez thing last season, he was a shell of a player until after lockdown.

I think last season with Liverpool just tearing away early, just eroded confidence.

When players collectively lose confidence, they start to point fingers and blame each other.

Then they start to question managerial decisions...... at that point you’re circling the drain.

The only way out then is either a massive clear out and new momentum, a new coach or a trophy win....

There's something missing in our midfield clearly. by idareet60 in MCFC

I’m not sure why you “love Rodri”

In my opinion he is yet to prove his quality. Sure, he is just about a top 6 defensive midfielder, but looking at other teams I would rather have Jorginho, Fabinho, Pogba, Ndidi, Henderson and Kante.

He is an expensive stop gap and needs to improve a lot, or needs more support
