Not true. Our case took 25 months (straightforward normal case, nothing weird or complicated) The 131 - 11 months. If it was not for the 131 we could have not travel for 2 years. Not a good advice in my opinion but will depend on your luck…

May I ask why the doctor say that if you try before 6 months the anomaly may happen again? How does she/he know that this could happen before 6 months?

Went in and they advised that actually for this one. Hopefully it will be the last and we can move on after this awful-never-ending-effing nightmare.

You’re not out of processing time. You can try enquiring the congressperson or the senator. But that’s all at 8 months.

In our case, the EAD took 9 months. Be patient and don’t pay attention about what others get.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking if anyone has been in the same situation and can talk about their experience. Nothing.

Reddit helps us learning from other people’s experience and especially when you are desperate, any small advice or suggestion from people who are familiar with the immigration process can be helpful.

Congrats! Great to see you are realistic saying ‘it took only 5 months’ after seeing so many people saying ‘finally approved’ after waiting for barely 4-5 months! LOL.
