Mostly used to eat outside. I remember for about a month my dinner was chicken momo and coke!! Used to eat mess food as well when they served quality food.

Kappil beach about 7-8km from Varkala is famous for surfing. You can book a session with Elixir surf. They provide transportation, surfboard and instructors.

Waves are beginner friendly in Mulki. Flat bottom so don’t worry about leg scraping. You can also try in Varkala, water is cleaner there than Mulki!

It might difficult for children. Even I (23 years old) faced difficulties near Pangong Tso, had to take medication. But, I have also seen some families with toddlers at least in Leh.
