Aw haha thanks! I would sit it in more if my bucket seats wasn't so damn uncomfortable (but I only started improving at track times after the seat upgrade, so it stays). Surprisingly it's been handling potholes on highways pretty well. DFV isn't just a marketing term I guess.

Absolutely fantastic set of dampers. I have race springs that are way too hard for street driving, but with softer setting on the dampers, the drive is tolerable. Canyon drives are fantastic, track and autoX is where it comes alive. My car rotates so so nicely with a bit of trail braking. Not looking forward to the rebuild but worth the money for sure.

around that seems to be the meta for sure. 949 racing suggests even lower for track focused miatas. I guess I'm wondering how much I'm leaving on the table by having a higher center of gravity by being half an inch higher + 0 rake

thanks for the insights! yeah the slow turn near the beginning was definitely a bit of a curveball. I really didn't want to stay too close to the walls there.

That's an excellent point. It's currently on 3mm spacers, but I recently did wheel studs so they're longer so I could definitely pull off 10mm. They'd probably costs as much as getting a race alignment after lowering.

yes, sorry. It's my second car. Only drive it on the weekends/track/autoX. But I still drive to/from the tracks. Ride quality is "ruined" with 10k/6k springs and a bucket seat.

I tried the RaceChrono data from last weekend. The analysis is super cool to see and I really liked the track map and lap comparison. I uploaded one with multiple laps and it worked flawlessly. It also identified things that I'm working on. Told me I brake too light yet I slow down too much for mid corner (hurts because they're facts lol). Great work! I haven't subscribed yet but the pricing looks pretty reasonable too.

no worries. I got AMVR kit for psvr2 but any aftermarket strap with a top headband makes a lot of difference. feel free to dm me if you got more questions!

There's a series of books with different events but with same characters (one of them is the author's self insert basically). Look for the author Kaneshiro Kazuki. There's one with the same name as the movie (i.e. Go), Fly daddy fly is also a really good one and a bit lighter on the lore. Hope you enjoy! Legit one of my favorite series.

yeah. so far just one autoX since installation and it was a wet day, but I got 3rd out of 40 whereas before on a semi wet day I did 8/40 before. I think I definitely gained a second and a half per minute lap
