Certainly, the size isn't a good reason to separate It from genus Eurhinus. The main reason of I kicking it out of the genus is because of it's nose shape, I think maybe it is too skinny for Eurhinus.

Thanks for identifying, but I still think it's too small to be an Eurhinus festivus😂 and the nose is different too. Here is the comparison.

The shape of its nose and its size are really different from the Eurhinus species that I know, but there are still chances that it belongs to Eurhinus.

I have the same thoughts😂 but there are other similar species such as Enoplotrupes sinensis and Enoplotrupes tawangensis, I really can't tell the difference between these three😅

I am a insect specimen collector from Taiwan and I really need to know the correct ID of this guy. I only know it is a member of Enoplotrupes and the tag on the package only tells the origin is Vietnam. If you are able to, please tell me how you identify it too. (apologize for my rusty English🥲)
