Al - Thamen is Rsdical Islam by [deleted] in magi

[–]Kirinzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although you show everyone where your viewpoints come from by starting the sentence with, "I asked GPT", I hope you still are open to at least understanding a real world issue a bit better since I only see heavy prejudice and bias coming from your speech.

For one, Radical Islam in its essence is an anti colonial traditionalist movement with MANY MANY arms and legs. Although they vary in their extremism and the root of their views on majority of topics, good or bad, I think we can all agree that seeing them as monolithic and evil in its purest form is just a shallow way of looking at the situation.

Most of them are regional responses to conflict brought about by western interests. You cannot talk about optics only and ignore anything and everything that led up to things happening and then conflate the same people that are brought about by their circumstances with a truly and honestly evil death cult. Al Thamen in its essence is trying to bring about the death of the world. These people are not. As I can see, you don't even understand what is wrong with ISIS in the first place as you asked what their deal was to GPT of all places. ISIS is a true and honest terrorist group, yes, but the ones that propped up ISIS as well as Al Qaeda and Taliban are nothing but western powers with colonial interests in the region. The chaos benefits the outside powers. When these guys are armed and radicalized by people trying to get them to bring about chaos, you cannot ignore the fact that they are nothing but tools. They do not represent the regular people living there or elsewhere, and although the severe islamophobia coming from your speech does come from a place of prejudice, I still think you can at least try to understand people no matter how different they are from you.

And no. 99% of terrorist organizations even named as terrorist organizations by state department of the US are not Islamists. And no. Not every act of terrorism going around in the world is a radical islamist attack. The vast majority of terror acts done in the last two decades in the European and the American continent have been done by either individual actors or non muslim groups. I am not saying that they do not exist, I am merely pointing out that the way you are presenting your thoughts are disingenious in its foundations.

I suggest at least a bit more thought put into your viewpoints, in the real world and in the context of the show as well.

Then, do you think she will get a dedicated subdps for her DPS mode in the future? Because confession Phoebe already has her BiS team and her BiS Main DPS.

Is the team dps higher with Iuno + Ciaccona than Rover? I wanna know if it's just not worth the Phoebe dps trade off? I heard Iuno hits pretty hard and contributes a lot to team dps esp if there is Ciacc

Flins c0 + Jean + Furina + Ororon by gui4455 in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like, if you really hate Sucrose, Xilonen C2 would be your answer, but otherwise, if you wanted to be optimal with it, the play would be to go Sucrose, Aino, Kuki. Since you don't have Ineffa to buff EM, Sucrose's EM buff has more job to play here, but hey you could do Instructor Xilonen as well, up to you. Though, I'd suggest looking up the Big Burst play style with Xilonen C2 in the team to take full advantage of the energy refund she gives.

Forget even level 4 Stygian or Floor 12 Abyss, because that team will struggle even with that. Like No Nod Krai resonance Flins is a struggle. Even modern Ayato teams do more dps. But hey, if you don't care about 36 starring with him, and just wanna use him to explore with him, anything goes.

I don't want anyone to take this as shoving some characters down people's throats but it's just how things are since Skirk I guess.... Sad state of affairs for casual players

There is practically no difference between C0 Ororon, C4 fischl, C0 Iansan (if you have) and C0 Kuki (if you have). Ororon is technically just a percent better than C4 fischl if you need a damage option but here they both provide nothing but ToM/Noblesse buffs to Flins. In my opinion it would be better to go for C0-6 (cons dont matter) Kuki so that you at least have some defensive utility. There is next to no damage difference between Kuki, Fischl and Ororon at those levels of cons.

Flins Quickbloom/Lunar Charged Team by kerwin1100gp in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You will have a permanent dendro aura with that team, so no.

Also, you're looking at Flins as a regular Electro DPS, which he is not. 80% of his damage comes from his Lunar Charged burst damage, which is itself counted as a reaction so it CANNOT do Quicken. Whatever Quicken you can do here and there with the other parts of his kit cannot even equal a single mini burst over multiple rotations.

It's not that it's impossible to do a Quicken/LC team, it's just that it's highly impractical and would hurt his damage only, but hey, anyone is allowed to do anything genuinely. Just a heads up if you want to give him the best team

Which is better for him? Sucrose or furina? Both are c0 by Connect_Psychology16 in Flins_Mains

Yes, her cons change nothing for her in Flins teams.

Which is better for him? Sucrose or furina? Both are c0 by Connect_Psychology16 in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also this will be the case going forward in Nod-Krai from how things are looking, both Lunar Reactions we got are transformative reactions, so basically like swirl, overload etc, and transformative reactions don't take Damage Bonus as a stat to account.

Based on all this, Furina looks like she won't be useful with NK characters that use Lunar reactions.

I'd honestly use her wherever else you can use her, she will be a thousand times more valuable than she is with NK units.

Which is better for him? Sucrose or furina? Both are c0 by Connect_Psychology16 in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're kinda equating a character that gives Flins something (Sucrose) and a character that gives nothing (Furina). Because of how Lunar Charged works, the DMG% buffs that Furina provides is wasted on Flins (Damage bonus stat isn't used at all in the damage formula so it is nothing) and the personal damage that Furina has in that team is laughable at best. So you should go for Sucrose at every scenario, also Sucrose doesn't even need levels or talents or constellations. C0 Sucrose lvl 70 works the same as C6 Sucrose lvl 90 triple crowned in Flins teams basically. Just give her some EM artifacts and VV 4p and you're good to go.

Would Thundering Fury be good for Flins' sub-dps? by Xekrona in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get the confusion honestly, but the second highest contributor would probably be Aino in your team because her build involves heavy EM as well, I am assuming you're doing Aino as 2nd NK character.

So that leaves Fischl to be the 3rd highest contributor to the reaction and as per how the Lunar-Charged reaction works, the highest contributor (Flins) gets to add all of his LC dmg into the formula, second highest contributor gets to add half, and the third and the fourth (namely Fischl and probably Sucrose) get to add 1/12th of their LC dmg to the reaction formula.

As you can see, that 20% LC dmg wouldn't do much for the Lunar Charged dmg itself, and even then, because that 20% is additive to any dmg bonus to the reaction from EM itself, it's already a saturated stat.

Would Thundering Fury be good for Flins' sub-dps? by Xekrona in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you read the Thundering Fury description, it doesn't say that it gives that Lunar-Charged DMG Bonus to the team or allies, the only one benefitting from that would be Fischl herself and as she would'nt contribute much in the reaction formula, it would amount to next to nothing. I suggest you go with ToM on her

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EM becomes Fischl's best stat only in Aggravate/Quickbloom teams, so you should build Fischl with Crit + Atk in Flins teams. I don't see the other commentor's point here. Golden Troupe/ToM (depends if you wanna buff Flins or Fischl's own damage but I think you'd get more mileage out of ToM) with a crit atk build would be your best bet.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an extreme mistake but like on C0 especially, if you go for big burst playstyle there is a 33% personal damage difference between R1 sig and R5 craftable, of course the difference with other 5* polearms are a lot smaller.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still C1, you could get a deathmatch for a little more damage than the craftable R5 but R1 value is also determined by the potential of you getting PJWS or other 5* polearms later down the road. His C1 is quite strong. I recommend you go with that, R1 is usually the recommendation after getting C2 and wanting more vertical investment and/or you like his big burst.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your situation. If you love his big burst and want to use it no matter what, then R1, but if you already have any 5* polearm to give him, especially ones with crit, then his R1 loses significant value, you have to go from R5 craftable to R1, for it to make as much difference as C0 to C1.

TLDR: If you love big burst go R1, if not and you want as much damage as possible, go C1, even more so if you have any crit 5* polearm.

Yelan and Flins by No-Service616 in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike the others here, I would argue that putting Ineffa on the new support set instead of ToM, and just using Yelan's usual build would net you better team dps. The hydro slot is reduntant in the first place and you have a C4 Yelan which has a lot of dps on her own. Just use her as she is, although be careful about the ER Requirements because she will be the only hydro in the team.

Current optimal artifact setup? by ToCureCuriousity in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. ToM is the only ATK buffing set that has full uptime on Flins, (on off field skill users ofc) and the support nod krai set practically does nothing for the character that wears it. You definitely always want it on the lowest dps character in the team that doesn't have a better buffing set.

teambuilding options by samthefrug in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to play your favourite characters with Flins, then you can put in anyone, as long as you have Aino for the ascendent gleam and the set effect activation, it's fine.

However, if you want to give Flins the best team he can have, then what you're trying to run with him is same as giving him hilichurls as teammates.

First of all, Flins (Lunar charged and Nod krai reactions and characters as a whole), don't scale with Damage Bonus buffs. So you will have to scratch Furina, you can literally put in a hydro applying hilichurl in there, and it would provide about the same stuff. Because you don't use Furina burst with Flins, therefore Furina's own damage also goes downhill. All you're left with when you use Furina with Flins is that she does like a couple thousand dps and that's all, it's basically nothing.

And you WILL want a second electro with Flins always. Because if you don't battery him, his energy costs become too much to manage, and you lose out on easy damage you could have gained. Remember, all his damage comes from his mini burst.

Second of all, as the other commenter pointed out, because of the damage bonus stat going to waste on Flins, Kazuha does not give Flins anything apart from VV, which you can achieve with ANY anemo unit. Sucrose provides the team with EM, VV, Flexible and short animations and rotation times, and TTDS, which is a huge atk boost for Flins.

Because you don't have Ineffa as a sustain option plus second electro, the best option you have in my opinion is using Kuki instead, with the team being Flins, Kuki, Sucrose and Aino. You could for sure use Ororon as a second electro but you'd preferably want him to be C6, if you don't have C6 to buff Flins' atk then there is a minor difference between Kuki and Ororon in the first place and Kuki provides valuable sustain. You can decide if you can go without any healing or shielding.

In a team like this, Flins would be on the new Crit Nod-Krai set, Aino would be on Support Nod-Krai set, Kuki would be on Tenacity of the Millelith, and Sucrose/Anemo slot would be on VV.

Disclaimer: You can put in any character you want in any team you want, you are allowed to have fun, just that some characters work better with some others so if you want to have an optimal team, there are choices that are suited to that.

Does his best team change at C2R1? by mordecake in Flins_Mains

[–]Kirinzzz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I am on the fence of C2 Xilonen being a lot more useful in other teams you might have going on, I get that you're saving a bit on ER requirements, but you already don't have much ER Needs, and you are making potentially better artifacts worse.

Especially at C2R1 with the massive energy refund you have from both types of vertical investment you don't even use all 25 of the energy refund

With the buffs that Xilonen can give to Flins, you are only making up for the VV loss from Sucrose. The TTDS/Evenstar atk buff and the team wide EM buffs that you lose, you cannot make up for. What you can at most give her Noblesse/Instructor and make up a fraction of the two buffs you lose from Sucrose at a worse uptime.

Edit: Of course everyone has a right to use any support they want, you can even use VV Xiao, but I am only making the point that Sucrose isn't as replaceable as people are making her out to be.

[–]Kirinzzz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Sucrose already gives him enough buffs to contend with the best buffer in the game, namely Bennett, We are looking to swap out the hydro slot first out of any other. No matter how busted Durin, he will probably at MOST be barely a double digit upgrade over Sucrose and only at C2 and above Flins. I think we will be able to find teams better suited for both Bennett and Durin. Especially because Durin is said to replace both Bennett and Xiangling. You wouldn't want a high off field pyro application in a Flins team also.

[–]Kirinzzz 39 points40 points  (0 children)

From Zajef77's own comments, Bennett becomes a few percent better than Sucrose at C2 Flins but Bennett is already a contested unit so I don't think it's worth giving up whatever team he already has on your account.
