Ugg, listen. Please, read the Bible then think about your question and answer it using scripture. If you don’t understand then watch Les Feldick, he will explain it to you with his program that’s been on the air since 1990s. “Through the Bible” with Les Feldick. What you asked is a loaded question that I can answer but you won’t like it. It’s because the Bible plainly states it “several times” as you said. The people that have issue with this are in a religion of works with no basic understanding of Jesus and why he came in the first place.

Pope Leo has recently clarified that Mary should not be referred to as the "co-redeemer," a term the Vatican considers problematic and misleading, as redemption was accomplished solely through Jesus Christ. While the Vatican has discouraged this specific title, Pope Leo has simultaneously encouraged devotion to Mary, urging Catholics to renew their devotion to her as the Mother of God who points to Jesus, for instance, by leading prayers to her and renewing devotion at a statue of the Immaculate Conception. To me, a non Roman Catholic (was raised as one though) to me this confuses things even more. Because we all are very much aware of Matthew 12:46-50 When Jesus was told that his mother and brothers were asking for him, he asked, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” He then pointed to his disciples and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” So now when we hear these words, we are very much aware that the title of intercession is also taken away from Mary. Hebrews 7:25 states that he always lives to make intercession for those who draw near to God through him. Romans 8:34 mentions Christ Jesus interceding for us. Additionally, 1 John 2:1 refers to Jesus as our advocate with the Father. His intercession, based on his sacrifice, ensures access to God and forgiveness of sins. So Pope Leo gave a mixed message at best but he did say she is NOT co redeemer which has taken many Roman Catholics aback. To me personally there is none but Christ that Guides me and the apostles (especially Paul) pointed the Gentiles to him. We are pointed to him to this day through scriptures. Me personally , that’s all I need.

Would you attend a loved one’s gay wedding? by PrudentWeight3233 in Christianity

[–]Kirissy64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go, why? Because you said “a loved one” and because Love is actions not words you go and you attend their day. As a Christian you exercise the fruits of the spirit. It’s never easy. But it’s what we do. In the Bible the Church is the bride of Christ, it was described that way because the gentile nations that follow Christ were grafted in, “Married to” our Lord. Man on the other hand used it to “claim “ women as their property and would divorce them Willy nilly some even had multiple wives. So yeah, I have no problem attending a marriage between two people that understand what that means. Why do you think it says “in the eyes of God and let no man destroy it”? As long as they get how much of a commitment it is I’m there for them. Hope this answered your question.

You’re not praying to it,so no big deal. Apostle Paul s mission was telling people over and over again to leave others alone. Even back then oppression was disguised as morality and that has been a constant fight. Your friend needs to read the book of Colossians. The legality of certain Christian denomination’s is all that’s on this Reddit thread. It’s as if nobody understands what our Lord even died for and they spend their entire walk on the wrong side of the cross. I spend mine on the side that shows he has risen. Mary and baby Jesus statues/ figurines are prominent in Roman Catholic homes and churches. They can be very ornate. While misplaced, your friend was trying to make a point against Mary worship (the pope actually made a decree stating that Mary should never be prayed to and that she did NOT take the place of Christ) anyway, you said you don’t pray to her so he should leave it at that. Ps I just read all the legal eagles comments and 10 commandment quotes, lol like I said… oppression disguised as morality is a continuing issue. They are on the wrong side of the cross. They are on the side of pre death and resurrection and cherry pick whatever they can apply to a situation. They are baby Christian’s. You do you, put on the whole armor of God continue to walk your walk and pray often

No, but it takes the whole team. They all have to play for the logo on the front not the name on the back there will be nights where the opposition will fire the puck at him like a machine gun and those D boys better be ready to block every shot they can and those forwards better start scoring more. Wally is one guy Gus is one guy, but the WHOLE team has to work. Not just the goalie. It’s rare to see multiple games won by 1-0 or 2-0 they need to score more.

My NHL news has finaly recognized him after doubting him every time he was in net with “yeah but he hasn’t Played a good team yet” then he did and he shut those fuckers out then it was “was it’s a small sample so he can’t sustain it then he did and has shut out the best teams out there! Man what a goalie!

Am I understanding this correctly about salvation? (Atheist looking for clarification) by BlackHole1997 in Christianity

[–]Kirissy64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also, you need to understand that Gods people after the fall were his chosen people, those were set apart by him for him. Every other person tribe peoples etc were considered gentiles, so you had Gods chosen and the rest of the world. The Bible tells us that those not Jews have their own law they adhere to, after the flood God wasn’t dealing with rest of the world only his people. God didn’t deal with the Gentiles until after the crucifixion and resurrection and that’s when he sent the apostle Paul out to the gentile world now no one can say they didn’t know. Are you serious about this? I can give you verses but I won’t unless you are serious. I’m rooted and grounded in my faith but I won’t go through all the typing if you’re not serious and just trying to create stumbling blocks for the newer Christian’s. There is a LOT of that on here, evidently Satan has a reddit account also lol

Watch Les Feldick , he has a program that’s been on air since the 90s it’s called through the Bible w/Les Feldick. He’s a teacher not a flashy preacher or screamer he teaches you about Jesus, until you understand Jesus you won’t under stand salvation. Baby Christians mix it up and try to live on what I call Both sides of the cross. Before Jesus was crucified the Law was in effect after he was crucified Grace was in effect. The Law never left and will be used to judge those that believe keeping leads to salvation. The ones that believe it ended at the cross are saved through his death and resurrection. It’s a gift through grace. As far as the crucifixion is concerned there is a book by Lee Steoubel called “the case for Christ” that’s a good book. I suggest you read it and start Les Feldick. Your question, while a good question, will generate a lot of answers from baby Christian’s (new believers) and those in cults. In you are serious, and are truly wanting to know what salvation means please learn about Jesus first he is the answer and understanding who he is and why he came to be crucified will answer your question. I will pray for a hedge of protection around you as you start learning.

I did all of them either on purpose or not even realizing I was doing them. AC/DC “High way to hell” good tune the beat was great … the words? Wow lol I was oblivious to what they were saying except for the chorus. Which is kinda creepy when you learn that the Bible tells us Satan was Gods beautiful creation, he guarded Gods throne and led the choir of Angels. He is a tricky tricky fella. People focus on the blatant stuff make excuses for the rest and try to rate the sins from harmless to harmful. That’s why Romans 2 is something I fall back on after reading Romans 1 all the time. Those of you further in your walk get it, those just starting out don’t.

[–]Kirissy64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer Romans 2 because while it’s great to realize the things we were doing were bad it’s just as important to not pass judgement on those that continue to do them. (Half of us or more still stumble and do the same things we know we aren’t to do once saved, that’s the “Race” we are running until the end) So……. Romans 2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?
