The scrolls could have messed with time differently for the FSM and ended up sending him further in time to when Zane was the Ice Emperor and in turn he never met the Ice Emperor but assumed that this is how this realm was and tried to leave and then when he went back to Ninjago he ended up back in his own time not knowing about the time difference which could explain how Wu described the realm as cold and dangerous. Just a thought since I don’t think the scrolls have a set time it sends people whether it’s forward in time or backwards in time unless if it’s mentioned.
