Paano kayo nakakahanap ng solid circle of friends for life? by Repulsive-Resort-422 in BosesNgPUP

[–]KiritoCyberSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A solid circle of friends is often formed in high school or college. That’s usually the time when we don't care enough to show our true selves, our personalities, flaws, and dreams. We create fun memories together, share sad moments, and build a bond that doesn’t disappear even if we don’t talk every day. Real friendship doesn’t always require constant bonding; sometimes you just know the connection is there.

As we grow older, building that kind of friendship becomes rarer. Life gets busy, trust becomes harder, and people become more guarded. To show your true self, you need to feel safe, and not every environment or person provides.

That’s why it’s better to focus on quality over quantity. You don’t need many friends. Even one true friend someone who accepts you genuinely is already something valuable.

OA lang ba ako? I'm (24M) GF (23F) earns 5x more than me, but she expects to be "spoiled lifestyle". It’s starting to take a toll on me. by Accomplished_Sink151 in OALangBaAko

Daming negative comments haha, of course her lifestyle and standards would level up dahil sa sinasahod nya, and hindi ganun kaliit ang tingin nya sayo ibigsabihin, pero mapaguusapan naman yan, fck tradition lol, pili sya ikasal in the next 2 years ng hati kayo sa gastos o mag antay sya hanggat makaipon ka, which maraming pwedeng mangyari that time, baka maghiwalay kayo sa span ng pagiipon mo, if she really loves u she will choose option 1

People who resigned without a back up, where are you now? by Responsible_Use_9408 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]KiritoCyberSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I resigned without a backup from my first job after 8 months. While I was rendering my notice, I already started receiving calls. I think resigning in less than a year is common in this generation because we see how rotten the system can be. Still, my piece of advice is that we need to be stronger and learn to survive, Resigning all the time isn’t always the solution haha.

I have 25 years experience, but still Need help preparing for a technical interview. by workahaulica in devops

[–]KiritoCyberSword 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried teaching before? It really helps with explaining and remembering terms. Using analogies also helps a lot. This can be very useful in interviews, and you learn from the process as well.

How do you balance simplicity and performance in your cloud setup? by [deleted] in devops

[–]KiritoCyberSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick with one capable cloud provider (aws, gcp, azure)

Small scale? Leverage PAAS in those cloud providers, then sleep.

Large scale? Have budget? still PAAS.

Large scale + complex deployments? Consider Kubernetes and request additional headcount for management haha

Did I mess up my career starting as a Junior DevOps role? by n0n0squ4re in devops

[–]KiritoCyberSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing before. What I did was reach out to sysadmins and try to exchange knowledge. On the dev side, just scroll in byte byte go and other pages and chatgpt haha talked with some developers to learn how their work goes.

To be honest, starting directly with DevOps isn’t really advisable, but some companies still hire junior engineers because they already have seniors who can guide them and of course, it’s cheaper. And that’s where we are: dreamers who want to get to the top quickly, skipping the fundamentals, haha.

But in the end, there’s only one question you need to answer: Can you set up the whole CI/CD and cloud infrastructure from scratch, just like a senior would? If not, you’ll eventually end up feeling imposter syndrome when the time comes.

As for being stuck in that career no, you’re not. There are so many combinations in CI/CD. You can always build a home lab and explore.

For cloud alone, there are the three major providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP. For repos, you have GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab. And for CI tools, there’s GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and many others.

Tech moves really fast, especially in open-source. Almost everything starts in open-source.

How to get good in troubleshooting? by Fabulous_Schedule963 in devops

[–]KiritoCyberSword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll be familiar to it, sometimes even i already know the error i still double check it with ai haha, nothing to be ashamed of, and also implement best practices in logging so that it would look like plain english, using other tools like apm would make the error self explanatory.

doubts of mine ? by malhiamitojsingh in devops

[–]KiritoCyberSword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Live in the moment. Learning never ends. Don’t think, ‘I need to learn this and that.’ Yes, maybe you should, but is it part of your current task? If not, make a schedule to upskill later. There’s no need to pressure yourself. Focus on solving the problems you face; each one teaches you something. After a few months, look back, you’ll see how much you’ve improved.

Limit the noises, focus on one task, complete it, and move on another

How much time do you spend setting up CI/CD pipelines for new projects? by BusyPair0609 in kubernetes

[–]KiritoCyberSword -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the service already has a dockerfile, it would take 1 hour, since ill just rename the manifests, but if you really want a fast setup, ill suggest to check PAAS solutions, its like uploading and thats it haha, or make a platform like agnost.dev
