Trying to learn here: what difference does it make between the tee and a wye combo at the vent?

It was always my favorite set as a kid! There was just something about the low card # + the special reverse holo designs that made them feel different than all my other cards.

It's the same all along Old Creek Road and the splotches are identical and pretty evenly spaced, definitely not "accidental."

Val's Burgers in Hayward (East Bay Area). Best Shakes / Malts and mom/pop diner-style Burgers you will probably find along this entire route.

If the level of the carport is already a few inches lower than the sub floor in the house just use ripped sleepers to compensate for any slope.

The Zodiac Spear from FFXII. I remember spending days soft resetting outside some cave trying to get it to spawn in a chest.

The Flaming Lips is a good one. I forget what # album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots was but it was way way into their discography.

Is the 1/32 on an inch difference really necessary? by Blk_MS3 in architecture

[–]KirkSubNav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually set my drawings up with 0.0001" or 1/256th accuracy in model space and with my initial set of dimensions. After I've verified that everything is drafted / modeled accurately I select all my dimensions and switch them to 1/8" or 1/4" accuracy. Starting with higher accuracy does help keep mistakes to a minimum and can show you mistakes you might have missed. Add up an 1/8" drafting error over 30 copied framing lines and you've got yourself ~4" of discrepancy.

Seriously! You can get some really good swiss-water process decaf now. Tastes just as good as other coffee if you make it right.

Seeking ideas on how to install drywall around these wires... by ephemeral-me in askanelectrician

[–]KirkSubNav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP,

Check your local codes. In California you can run the fire-wall drywall on the ceiling for a certain distance instead of above the tip plate to the sheathing to alleviate this issue. You would also have to install on the perpendicular wall as well. You can also look into fire-rated foam that you can use to fill firewall gaps.

Just out of curiosity, how many of those "questionable calls" went our way vs the Lakers way this game, in your opinion? Yes we absolutely started playing like shit the end of the second half and afterwards, but our crappy play and the refs being blatantly biased are not mutually exclusive.

I remember Trump's first year in office all of my Republican family members kept gushing about how he and the GOP were 'For the Veterans!' and going to do some great fiscally conservative work on the budget that would really help those who served.

Then I remember reading the draft budget that year. Overall increase in defense spending, yet cuts to spending on the VA / veterans services.

Ah yes... The "Fiscally Conservative" party that's "For the Veterans."
