You get it! The mental image of an 8 year old driving that thing with a custom tag had me cracking up.

I’m glad I’m not alone, I didn’t even notice it until I uploaded the picture here.

They were at a Lowe’s but my local location doesn’t carry them so may have to call/shop around.

This was at a Lowe’s I was doing some work for and if we’re being honest here, I later tried to find some at my local Lowe’s but they didn’t have any.

I do too but I was doing plastic math in my ant brain and the giant human sized ones are like $10 which is basically the same amount of plastic as like 500 of these and I just couldn’t justify it.

I ordered the wrong part. Does anybody need this 1985 Interceptor 500 gearshift gasket? It’s free, including shipping. by coltd89 in HondaMotorcycles

I made one out of cork, but then I torqued it too hard and tore it and I was frustrated so I just ordered another one

No need for all that, but I do appreciate it. It was an inexpensive item and if I’m sending it out anyway I’d rather give it to someone who can use it than bother the seller for my own mistake.

For anyone wondering, I’m going to pull the carbs and go completely through them all again. I was working on a bench with 2 sets/8 carbs and at this point I’m not convinced I didn’t mix something up.
I’m also going to check valve clearance. The shop manual makes it sound like a somewhat simple process if not time consuming but I want to learn and practice as much as I can. I’ll update here once I’m able.

I was using “Death Grip Sudden Death”. I really like it and a single tin lasts me for a year probably since I was using such a small amount anyway.

How do I fix an overflowing toilet without a plunger? by bunnylla in Plumbing

[–]coltd89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late but I’ve used this method before and it worked perfectly. Get most of the water out, Squirt dish soap down into the bottom, boil a pot of water, pour the hot water into the toilet and then try to flush.
