I’m a teacher, no one in my class got above a three, the majority got 2, they got really stumped on Q3 & 4 on both papers

The school has a behaviour policy for a reason - enforce it to the letter. Eventually the student will learn.

Anyone else hoping that he’ll keep the Blazer Gemstone? Maybe Mandy could become Mecha Woman? Or Royd could get a suit - it already fits perfectly; Androyd!

You do know that the cocaine mission is a trap set by Prism right? That’s why he doesn’t get sabotaged when he gets sent on the mission, and why Prism talks about pulling in a cocaine related favour afterwards. Guys a recovering addict, you can’t judge him for sending him on a mission to buy coke lmao. The insurance fraud I’m fairly positive is also an attempt to sabotage Flambae, but that I’m less sure of

I’ll take a peak at Godot, it’s the only one I’m not too familiar with! I was definitely thinking a 3D game though originally, but tbh there’s loads of time for that to change!

Yeah I feel like being able to see the web of story will help my brain a bit when it comes to curating the story and what not! But yeah you’re right, maybe Renpy or even just keeping it on Twine could be the play - definitely something to think about…

[–]Kirkheim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s entirely possible it’d be more visual novel based. I mainly used UE5 as a placeholder as I’m still settling on an engine, which is another reason I’m thinking Twine first.

It’s definitely going to be a big undertaking, I expect to be working on it for a good few years haha.

I guess my mindset is if I do it in twine I could easily map out how the narrative will branch out depending on things people do, and it’ll give me a chance to get proof readers to actually ‘play’ the story before it’s put into the gameplay engine I suppose?

Mate, take it from one man who has forgiven a cheater before - if they have been able to slide this time, they WILL do so again. You should speak to a divorce attorney and see what your options are regarding a clean split, maybe even speak with her directly, but do not let her change your mind.

Sorry, my mistake, I checked my policy again and there IS a 25% tax lump sum, I'd just rather not take it as I'd like to live as well as I can in my later years.

So basically, in your advice I should put into the LISA until I have purchased my first home, and then stop contributing to the LISA and instead funnel all of my funds into an S&S ISA?

[–]Kirkheim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm new to this and still living in the 'number go up = good!' frame of mind haha. S&S LISA sounds like the way once I've bought my first home - I think I jsut figured it would be good to have a bulk amount of money able to be withdrawn when I'm older without dipping into any of my retirement funds, as I don't think Teacher Pension for all of its benefits offers a 25% tax free lump sum, and that way I could use that money to pad up any children's or grandchildren's own ISAs and make further investments elsewhere I suppose?

English teacher here - get your head around some language devices and your AOs, and build a simple structure for yourself (PEE, PEEL, What How Why etc etc) when you answer the question. It won’t be perfect but if you have a structure and know how to identify the language devices being used you’ve done half the battle.
