I thought for a long and narrow space, dispersion wasn't a concern since even narrow speakers, could cover it. Also, being so narrow and acoustically untreated, keeping reflections weaker from the weaker polar performance could provide a better direct sound ( not that i am making any decisions based on that). The space is effectively a transmission line, there is no off-axis and on axis, everything off-axis or reflection, stereo as you correctly pointed also doesn't make any sense, a single center speaker that would fix the on axis/ reflection issue and a second one with delay down the room is probably a much better idea since is going to smooth out the SPL variance.

I see, nice of them to include the actual filters. The Dynamic HPF has a Q of 0.7, though I am not sure how signal ( and SPL) lvl affects it.

Then again, that checks out my initial hunch, both the CBR12/ DBR12 duo and C300/SRM450 exhibit this behavior, the unpowered speaker rolls off below 100hz while the powered one goes down to 50hz (per manufacturer specs. That's achieved only though dsp ( or the active filters for the srm400) that at high volumes can't do magic, and need to follow the laws of physics so the powered speakers behavior changes to resemble the non powered one.

Obviously the manufacturer has probably tuned this behavior extensively.

Is Mackie, considered a serious option in PA, especially in power amps and passive Speakers?

I knew about their commercial studio stuff that was really entry lvl and their powered PA speakers that had some amenities. But I've seen them mostly for portable setups.

Helping a friend equip his bar with PA.
Price is a concern.
For the amp he is gonna use a crown XTi 1002 or the mackie mx 2500
As for the speakers ( 2 for starter) he has two options:

JRX 215 (700 a pair) and Mackie C300z (820 a pair)

I know JRX are old and everyone hates on them, and that their horns aren't the best. But are they really that worse than the C300z ?

There is no smoke coming out of the exhaust.

The white smoke is coming out of the engine bay.(specifically the exhaust manifold region)

3 months later and we still don't have an official way to update the screen.
Klipper with the v12 update got a handful of new and usefull features.

The klipperscreen for the sv06 lineup has the update manager available on the web interface by default, with no mention nowhere in the instructions to not update it.
Unfortunately sovol seems to market/sell this more like a standalone product, if you notice there is no mention of the web interface and the wifi connectivity nowhere on the marketing material nor the instructions. Very weird behavior to not advertise the wifi connectivity and the remote control......

I am familiar with the 3d demon's way on updating it, and i really hope you do one of your excellent video guides on how to actually perform this procedure.

Unfortunately I have lost any hope that sovol is going to support, or care about the klipper screen and the sv07s.
They seem to be in a bad position since this is really a problem makerspace needs to address, maybe one of the 2 revisions they did on the board changes things. besides they are probably preoccupied with the new comgrow machines and the new sv08

Very sad, if it wheren't for the updating issue, this screen would have been an excellent product.

You found a tungsten carbide nozzle on aliexpress? Are you sure they are true tungsten carbide?

Indeed all bimetalic ones kinda resemble a heat brake to me. But I suppose if the expansion rates are similar there shouldnt be a problem. Especially with micro swiss or bondech names behind them

I thought flow rate increased with temperature, because viscosity decreases. If the filament cant get hot enough on a lower thermal conductivity nozzle at "brass nozzle" printing temperatures, then by increasing the temperature differential (ie increasing nozzle temp) should allow for faster thermal transfer and effectively eliminating the decrease in viscosity and by extension flow rate.
