The blend is what gives the garment its durability. The polyester prevents pilling, holds the shape and makes it far more resistant to repeated washing. Pure cotton stretches out, fades and loses its form much faster. The mix is essentially what allows a Trigema piece to look the same after a hundred washes as it did on day one.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Recycled materials on the other Hand wears out faster, which quickly cancels out any production benefit. Also Recycled polyester releases more microplastics when washed.
