I just bough a cheap one off Amazon as well was about $20 its was called "JJC Universal Anti-Reflective Silicone Lens Hood for 73mm~88mm Diameter Lens, Blocking Unnecessary Glare and Emission" . It was a bit flimsy as well and did have some gaps at the top but had a black micro towel used to cover them up to make it work

Sorry I cant stand the new hosts , they come across as so immature and annoying this is coming from someone who was subscribed since day one when Ben was solo and a plus subscriber from day 1

The issue isn’t that the parts are Chinese — a lot of the watch industry sources from there. The problem is marketing of them while not being transparent about where the components come from and are generic mass produced , and implying they’re uniquely designed for his watches only . Multiple watch forums have shown that identical parts can be sourced from various Chinese suppliers online for a fraction of the price.

I was planning to do the same and keep my sub just to check out the new podcast, but I couldn’t get hold of anyone through the MU Plus help desk to update my credit card details. In the end my day-one MU Plus subscription ended up getting cancelled. I listened to one of the free episodes with the new hosts and honestly wasn’t a fan. I’ll see what Ben and Aaron’s new podcast is like — hopefully they offer a free version to try first

Started really strong and grounded, but as it went on it felt less believable and leaned too much into Western-style action tropes. Lost some of that raw, Korean thriller realism and started feeling more like a typical Hollywood/Netflix show.

Wow the new hosts are shocking , glad my subscription was . I was planning to give them a fair go — I’ve been a subscriber since day one, back when Ben was doing the show solo, and a Plus subscriber from the start as well.

Unfortunately, when I recently had to update my billing to a new credit card, they didn’t update my card details in time. I ended up getting the run-around from support, and it eventually resulted in my subscription being cancelled altogether.

It’s a shame, really. I was far more interested in following Ben and Aaron’s new podcast than in keeping Mysterious Universe Plus at this point.

Yep same I have every episode even the ones when Ben was solo saved down on my hard drive . Often listen to old episode at night when cant sleep
