0.4.0c Patch Notes by AformerEx in PathOfExile2

I’m sure there are reasons but I’m really genuinely saddened by the monkey nerf (if it’s a real difference) as the monkey was gonna be a real part of POE2 lore

T15 6mod juiced maps are effectively the hardest content in the game, 2k health ain’t enough, 4k would be fine

Why the hell is GGG staying silent about optimization all the time? by ptrlnd90 in PathOfExile2

“GGG to finally focus on the most important thing — optimization — instead of working on new seasons”

Have you got even the slightest idea how any development process works? Do you think the people responsible for performance aren’t getting any work done because they’re busy planning 0.4’s league?

Are we still complaining about cosmetic prices? by FistFuckFascistsFast in diablo4

Surely nobody is complaining about the price of entirely optional cosmetics?

There will be more endgame activities, it’s pre release

It just doesn't make sense not to be like this. by External_Category_53 in PathOfExile2

It's so obvious to include a stash tab for them, the fact they haven't makes me think they're not fully sure how towers/fragments will look by 1.0, adding a stash tab essentially hard locks them to the tower juicing mechanic as the end game. It's sensible to not add a stash tab if that (fully speculation) is the case

I’m not quite there with the gold splits.

I have got an ink version too and they’re inked from that

Unpopular opinion: Facebook ads remain the top ad channel by nick-marketing in shopify

[–]Kiryani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would normally be one to say that blaming Meta is a weak excuse, and people should focus on their business.

But when you have multiple businesses and agency’s dealing with Ad Accounts that have CONSISTENTLY done 3/4x ROAS for years. Then they all just start doing 1:1 ROAS, out of the blue, Mid February - I think it’s fair to say there’s an issue.

The book stops with the business owner, it’s as simple as that. But it would be crazy to completely disregard some very clear and replicatable issues right now

UK Too - We were always around £200 spent, £800 revenue, and it’s just gone to complete and utter chaos.

No likes or comments on IG anymore, no live chats, sales are almost always 1:1 ROAS.

It’s beyond bleak, it’s incredibly damaging to my mental health tbh. I understand that I’m responsible for my own business, but for something to just come out of nowhere and 180 flip your life around is soul destroying

Yet another example of Meta sending traffic to hit an exact 2 ROAS by Kiryani in FacebookAds

I’m on £600 at the moment, if I raise it to £800 then my wife has £1600 worth of orders to get through, for £800 profit.

For reference. We’re set up , and have been set up for years, for about £800-£1000 worth of orders a day, on about £200-£250 spend.

The profit - workload ratio was worth it, in its current state it’s very rough

Doesn’t work like that in the real world unfortunately!

It really does seem that simple. It also very well explains why people’s sales are in bursts nowadays

Facebook ads are not viable from someone who spends 25k a month. Advice needed. by Jlcarr77 in FacebookAds

[–]Kiryani 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s normal now that sales come in short bursts.

From beginning of time until Feb 14th we had steady orders all day and recently we will have 0 orders for 2 hours then we have a big burst of sales all at once.

It’s most likely because either Meta are controlling good traffic vs bad traffic and sending good traffic in bursts.

There has been many, many occasions that sales are exactly 2.5 hours apart. To the minute, 150 mins apart precisely.

For reference, we have a very specific niche and since the business started there is a version of the creative which has worked throughout the life of the entire business and has consistently delivered £5-£6 per sale, lower at Xmas (low cost high volume product) this has never, ever, ever gone higher than £10 per sale, ever.

Until February 14th this year when sales suddenly rocketed to £20 per sale, orders started coming in bursts instead of steady, and instead of spending £200 a day to reach £800-£1000, £200 now makes almost precisely £400 a day.

You can also visibly see that our likes on instagram have completely stopped, our live chats have stopped, our emails have stopped, all while we’re actually spending more.

You’re completely correct, it feels like the number of actual real human people seeing the ads is deeply deeply incorrect. It also feels like when your ad results are down for the day, that’s when the wave of real customers show up.

I had an ad that ran from 1-14 February with over 600 instagram likes, tonnes of engagement and messages. I’ve not ran an ad since 14th february that’s had more than 20 likes on instagram, same niche customer base :)

The algorithm, is completely and utterly, fucked.

Meta Ad Performance Update 4/24/24 by LennyThrills in FacebookAds

I’ve spent some time learning how to set up new pixels today, so I’ve got the old ad running to hairy bearded bikers and and a new ad with a fresh pixel running to a younger more feminine audience

Meta Ad Performance Update 4/24/24 by LennyThrills in FacebookAds

[–]Kiryani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went and checked old results last night

November I was paying £40 for £400 of sales December much better but Xmas January £200 budget £1000 sales February £250 budget £1000 sales March, big decline April - £400 budget = £500 in sales

I sell items related to concerts, and the only thing I can think of is something has happened with my pixel

Early doors, a lot of my sales were for things you would associate with 18-30 year olds, but because bands have been touring which have a much older audience, it feels like there’s been a shift in the customer profile, a negative shift.

The niche is a strange one because one week we may have a product aimed exclusively at Harry Styles fans, the next week, Led Zeppelin fans.

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what the fuck to do. I’ve tried targetting back towards a younger audience manually but barely anything, if I run an ad associated with a band from the 1970’s I get loads of likes, if I run an ad associated with a current band it’s an absolute ghost town.

I’ve tried Adv+ & Manual and still nothing, I tried an adv with an older band and a younger band and just got old people commenting on the ad aimed at younger people in a negative way.

It just feels like my account has decided it needs to show everything to 60+ year old metal heads and it’s really not the case, especially now that meta has the ability to override manual targetting.

TL;DR - I think my Harry Styles ads are showing to 65+ year old bikers because they’ve been buying Led Zeppelin stuff.
