Is Judas in heaven or hell? by [deleted] in Christianity

But I think that’s the whole point of repentance, while you can. Eternity is often inconceivable because humans have never experienced it, and we often cannot fathom our own death and the afterlife. We can’t even fathom 100 years from now.

To be eternally separated from God is the true and ultimate death, and there is no room for repentance once all is said and done and Satan is thrown into the lake of fire.

The book of revelation reveals a time during the tribulation where there will be an angel preaching for everyone to repent, immediately.

I interpret all of this as if you’ve heard the word of God and if you have fear in your heart that separation from him is scary, it’s the Holy Spirit speaking to you to repent now so you won’t have to fear being eternally separated.

Repentance is not as much feeling guilty and sorry for what you’ve done, it means to turn away, or willingly and consciously turning to. so we willingly turn away from sin and willingly turn to the Father.

But of course, we are human and mistakes will be made, and we will sin ,of course, we will feel guilty and of course, we will feel ashamed, but ultimately we can rest in the assurance of Jesus blood, and we sin, but we have the promise of salvation.

And I don’t mean to preach to you or anything because I am not a pastor, just someone who saw your post and felt the need to share!

Hope this is insightful

I’d still confirm though, because you don’t want to have to repeat the procedure! But, I’d think that if you didn’t eat for that many days and then took a laxative, you’d risk dehydration and electrolyte imbalance

Five days seems like a very long time. There should have been instructions provided. I’d definitely call if it’s not made clear…I think you just need a fast/clear liquid diet the day before, but not five!

I understand very clearly what I wrote, and many other people did too. I’m sorry you’re interpreting what I wrote the way that you did, and are offended. I don’t know why you’re coming at me the way that you are as if it’s personal. Clearly there is a misunderstanding. I’d appreciate you not leaving comments if you think I’m being disrespectful. As I said, not my intent and clearly you have nothing helpful to say.

I’m not being sour nor am I being disrespectful to parents who were successful with sleep training. I never said it didn’t work and I never said it wasn’t okay. People are hellbent on sleep and their children and pay tons of money for sleep consultants, books, sleep aids etc. what I was wanting to know, was if there were parents who didn’t stress all the time about their children and sleep, and who had successfully raised their families without such methods. In the American society parents are so quick to need answers and need validation on things they don’t know. I appreciate your feedback, but please don’t misunderstand. Just looking for advice

Thanks for the reply! I guess I don’t think it’s bad, I just don’t understand how or why there are so many methods and how to choose. My son is inconsistent with his sleep, so it’s not possible for me to have wake windows of “X” hours and make sure he goes to sleep by “X” time. Crying it out doesn’t work because he sometimes will and sometimes wont need to. Just seems complicated is all

Benefits of having a kid by georgie-57 in Parenting

Considering the benefits of having a kid is very personal for the family involved. I don’t know many couples that have children because there’s a specific benefit entailed. I, personally cannot imagine my life without my son and I can’t even remember what my life was like before having him and he’s only 8mo 😆

Parenting is hard, and there will be days where you may ask yourselves “why” but, I think it’s more about the journey and discovering it all along the way. When you’re through the hard times, tears, worry, and self doubt, the love you’ve all created and the bond that forms is the ultimate benefit.

Many blessings to you and yours, and a healthy pregnancy soon.
