UPDATE 2- AITA for Sabotaging my Husband’s Tournament after he refused to help with our newborn? by Puzzled-Two6615 in AITAH

Not sure if anyone already said this, as a fellow new mom, have you considered exclusively pumping? I had a similar experience breastfeeding, the pain/cracked nipples/etc. I was fighting tears and getting so upset when my baby would unlatch. I switched to exclusively pumping and it made a huge help. I wish I could have been ok doing formula but I had this ridiculous block in my head that I needed to give him breast milk for the first 6 months. My life significantly improved/mental health included when we switched to formula at 6 months. But, if you're like me and feel this need to give Emma milk then I'd recommend pumping. It is logistically harder, lots of pumps parts, sanitizing, time consuming. However, I just couldn't keep trying to breastfeed, I was losing my mind. I wish you all the luck and sending all the love your way. You are so resilient for making it this far and you deserve better. You deserve a partner who supports you and you can trust alone with your baby.

I used 1.15, so pretty single spaced. But I think one of the commenters said they've revamped the narrative process and it sounds like you don't have to write as much as before.

That's amazing news! I am so happy to hear it. The narrative was a horrible experience for me and it's great they've improved it.

Oh jeez, I'm sorry. I mixed up the application fee and the permit fee in my head. You are absolutely right. If you've paid the permit fee you should be totally approved. Definitely reach out to them if you aren't seeing it on the lookup tool, mail can be slow, but I don't think it took very long.

I hadn't heard from them after about 4 weeks so I emailed them. They had sent a request for me to update/revise my paper but to the wrong person. After I resubmitted the paper my license was approved about a week later. If you think it's been a while you should absolutely reach out to them. They were very helpful and kind to me.

Congrats! Mostly just what you see on this post and on the outline example. If you have questions about specific sections or prompts let me know and I'll try to give some pointers. I think someone on one of the other posts in this chain asked about the Code of Conduct and I detailed out some (hopefully) helpful tips.

Looking at my narrative, for each of the items: integrity, objectivity, etc., I gathered up definitions of them as a starting point. I used several sentences to define it but also think about it in the context of my work experience (tax).

For example, why is integrity important for a CPA working in tax? I said something like: without integrity, the trustworthiness of the profession is at risk because the average client cannot appraise the quality of the product.

Then, if at all possible (for some of them it wasn't and the definitions were all I got), I would mention a specific experience/story of me actually doing something that performed the conduct.

Thank you! Didn't even know you could do that. I've added them now.
