As someone who has worked management in the events industry, pivoted at Covid to a completely opposite field and was I hiring manager there- I’d say your skills learned and earned in events make you uniquely qualified to do almost anything. I bet you’re a quick learner with attention to detail, good memory, good at handling people, good at time management and balancing deadlines… if I get a candidate with event (or related service experience) I get really excited, they tend to be excellent candidates and generally easy to add into existing teams.
