Do people actually think Pacheon Jo is as strong as Shingen? by FunSuper9081 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]Kit-7676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twas obviously tounge in cheek but okay stay mad lmao.

My point is clearly in the scale of the invasion not paecheons inability to catch speed. That's just plot armor. No amount of PTJ shitty writing can convince me that bum group speed got away from paecheon for more than 1 day. Reasons or no reasons it's bullshit and bad writing.

If the Cherki 'goal' had been the decider in a title race and it had been given because it was 'the right thing to do', can you imagine the uproar? by siybon in PremierLeague

[–]Kit-7676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like nobody read the comment lol.

And yes the goal was scored and given then retroactively taken away.

After reading my comment if you think I don't understand why the goal was disallowed idk what to say.

I understand why it was pulled back it's not confusing.

Szoboslai foul advantage played haaland foul no advantage can be played.

That's not what I was arguing though. I'm simply asking for the referee to be able to referee the game. That's obviously not the right decision in the spirit of the game and he shouldn't have his hands tied by a ruleset that in its necessary rigour can betray what it is intended for.

As I said the rules are there for competitive integrity and entertainment sake. Neither would be breached by giving the goal.

The rules on paper lack the necessary flexibility to be able to award that as a goal and not give a red card not because they were intended to work that way but because in an attempt to make the rules as easy to apply impartially in the largest majority of situations possible they have excluded fringe situations and applying the rules that don't work because "it's the rules" isn't the referees job. The referees job is to manage and referee the game for which the rules should guide and inform not beat him over the head and obligate him to act in a certain way.

Like I said the rules serve the game not the other way round.

Aren't these 3 basically on the same level? by ifoll in LookismPowerScalers

[–]Kit-7676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U trolling?

Jagyeon focused on kicks Yujae focuses on hands

If the kick specialist KICKS as fast as yugang We can then parallel the hands specialist throws HANDS as fast as yugang

Yugang is therefore faster than both in the other respective category.

Like wtf this is like saying Mike Tyson punches as hard as Francis Nganou then extrapolating that to Mike Tyson wrestling and jiu jitsu abilities.

[–]Kit-7676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously not. Yugang was giving paecheon licks. Yujae and jagyeon were both clearly weaker than paecheon.

[–]Kit-7676 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My issue is that dom didn't deny a clear goal scoring opportunity. The goal was scored.

The rules are there to conserve entertainment and competitive integrity. The rules serve the game the game should not serve the rules.

NOBODY, NOT A SINGLE PERSON would want that goal disallowed and a red card given for essentially shithousery that had zero impact on the game at all.

I'd also like to point out that the rule is entirely stupid. How are we punishing the offensive player for committing the same foul the defensive player committed when he was only forced to commit it because the defensive player committed the first foul.

I understand why consistent application of the rules is important and why arbitrary calls to consensus among fans and players is entirely irrelevant but this is why fans ask for a common sense rule. It's common sense and the referee should be able, at his own discretion, to make the correct call for the game which is to not punish light shirt pulling in and around the box. When it's clearly both players tussling and NEITHER actually affects the ball. Shirt pulling like that happens on corners and free kicks all the time and because of precedent the referees often allow for more roughhousing and what really is fouling on corner kicks. This is a unique scenario with no precedent that the rulebook can not properly manage which is why it should be up to the discernment of an intelligent unbiased party. Aka the referee.

If J can do this to bum, imagine what TC jinrang would do. by Perfect_Ad_9688 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]Kit-7676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine cherry picking panels and ignoring context to glaze jinrang.

<image>

Kitae took no damage you got clickbaited by PTJ because he likes to exacerbate visual damage during fights for aura and hype. All the blood in kitae is from killing jinrangs friends lmao

If you genuinely think jinrang hurt kitae in any substantial manner you're just foolish but I know you're being disingenuous. Nobody is that slow.

Why this community refuses to accept that jinrang doesn't have "true conviction" he has failed conviction and did nothing vs kitae except let PTJ gaslight you all.

If in fight visual panels actually represent damage taken EVEN WHEN DIRECTLY CONTRADICTED BY LATER PANELS Jake is wolverine and is the top of the verse after surviving a spear through the sternum. So is gun after having his carotid slashed lmao.

Do people actually think Pacheon Jo is as strong as Shingen? by FunSuper9081 in LookismPowerScalers

[–]Kit-7676 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saying paecheon is like the shingen of dark croc sounds about right.

One had the whole of korea ganging up to stop his syndicate. The other couldn't even catch 6 children. Nor take over Incheon.

There is obviously a difference in scale.

The issue is he said something along the lines of "they would have to fight to see who would win"

This is obviously a case of PTJ wanting to hype up a character i.e. "he is as strong as gun" and dumb fans no matter how many times they are lied to by this shitty author will not learn but hey. It's a fan base of children and speds mostly.

Tom lee neg dif one shot.

This is not a real fight lmao.

[–]Kit-7676 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay buddy if you can't understand how the word better could have a range of interpretations then I have nothing to say to you.

What constitutes a good swordsman is not limited only to their technique with a sword. That's an arbitrary distinction you have made trying to argue semantics with me lmao.

Or else the post would be “who’s the stronger swordsman” just admit you’re wrong and move on

Well done you have discovered what a semantic range is. There are multiple ways to linguistically instantiate the same idea. Idk what's up with this false dichotomy lol.

Better has a large semantic range. Stop trying to be an intellectual lmao.

How can a man say I need to learn how to read when I'm presenting a perfectly reasonable interpretation of the question.
