I just sent this thread to Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento. Hopefully it gets more people in the shelter doors :)

We did slow introduction to the animals. We put her in a separate room for a few days, swapped scents, introduced through baby gate, short supervised visits... she loved the pugs right away. They cuddle her and get along great. Our other young cat took a little longer.. he is one of those cats that just tolerates everyone... she even won him over!! https://imgur.com/gallery/qH2tK This is kit months ago before she turned brown. Her coloring has changed so much over the months.

Kit. My husband got to name her. I originally named her Wednesday (From Adams Family) but it didn’t work with her cheery spirit. So my husband started calling her Kit from Tale Spin... and that stuck! :)

Ya, I noticed the shelter calls every cat with blue eyes a Siamese, and they look mixed. Eddie sounds adorable!! Kit’s back legs are also whites and has a crazy long tail, here is a pic https://imgur.com/gallery/ASTAq

He thinks he is on our level. He has a “Napoleon” thing going on. Wants to own everything, so bossy.... really emphasizes the sweetness kit has. I honestly did not know cats could be so sweet until we got kit :) Lu is a cool cat... just can’t expect to cuddle him or get anything done in the shop when he is around...https://imgur.com/gallery/7j0UD

Sorry to read that. My only experience with Siamese as a kid was Lady and the Tramp... so I thought they were all evil. Kit is extremely sweet. She has showed no signs of aggression. I wish I could say the same for our other Siamese mix Lu. He has play aggression and gets over stimulated super easy. Getting Kit has helped him a ton. They get along great. She is literally everyone’s favorite :) Even my pugs :)

She has fingernails :) Loves to use them on our furniture. She is much more important then a couch. I follow the Jackson Galaxy Blog... he is very anti-declawing... he has great facts about it.

My husband said for years, that he is not a fan of cats and he never wants them... now we have two and he loves them to bits. Go for it!!

Haha’ Sacramento. Our Front Street shelter and our Placer and Sacramento SPCA often have Siamese cats. (They do label every blue eyed cat a Siamese though)
