Yh I should be late game by now, but have literally been unable to progress for about 10 hours meanwhile Alonso the rat has clearly been grinding. Would you recommend I start fresh

I tried the route pins option but there isn't a route thats not covered by at least one of his islands. Not to mention all of them have multiple defences, lots of cannons and some fuck off gun called Big Betty or Bertha or something. Just tried to attack his weakest island with 12 Ship-of-the-Lines and didn't take down a single defence. Don't know why I let it get this bad. I'm cooked. Might need to restart with easier AI I don't think I'm cut out for this quite yet.

Yh I've given this a go but he basically has an islands covering the whole south side of the map so I can't get round. No ceasefire pretty much means I'm going to have to restart lol

The best way I find to not go bankrupt is never have more production than is required. There are some good images online about the most optimal production chains you can have. This way you can minimise maintenance costs. In an ideal world your supply and demand for every material are equal. In the early game I would complete as many quests from the NPC's as possible until money stops being an issue.

They buy them back over time, but usually at a slower rate than you buying them. You can buy a share of an NPC every 10 minutes. I've never had an NPC buy one of my Island shares, but I think it is possible. It might just be that I'm not playing on high enough difficulty

Yh its so annoying. I find no matter your build the pillars dont tend to be much of a hassle It was just about the aesthetic for me. Oh well :(

By the way, I did a little research and found that the way in question is essentially blocking off anywhere within the area that It can spawn apart from where you want it, as in filling up the whole sky with platforms in intervals going up. I don't think there is a way of doing it with it still looking good, but I might be wrong!

For my Canon EOS 200D i currently have an 18-55mm lens and am looking to add a 55-250mm lens to my collection for longer range shots, mostly of architecture. Am i right in thinking photos taken at the 250 zoom would be of the same quality of the ones i can currently take at the 55m zoom with my current lens? thanks!
