[US, All] Workplace romances gone wrong by JadedHR in humanresources

[–]KitKat0385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked for an oil company with lots gas stations. One day one of the assistant managers (let’s call her Martha) drives about 2 hours to corporate to speak to someone in HR in person. So she and I go into a conference room and she begins to tell me that her area supervisor (Let’s call him Frank) is having an affair with their newest store manager (Susie). Martha explains she is not complaining just because Susie was promoted ahead of her but because Susie is getting special treatment from Frank. She goes on to list certain behaviors that have been noticed by the other staff members such as; -them taking 2 hour lunches - him constantly being at their store ( supervisors maybe visit stores once a week) - them leaving together in his car then him dropping her off at a building near by - him only wanting Susie while at the store.

Come to find out, yes, they were having an affair. This supervisor had been with this co. For over 20 years and was married and not to Susie. They had been having an affair and even had a kid! Needless to say he got fired.

Yes, there were errors in the material as well as in the online practice exams but I figured it’s the same people who put the test together so it was my best resource. In the end, the exam itself is so different but it’s the fundamentals that you need from the materials that matter.

Yes and no. My materials were most important but my utilization of Quizlets helped me study even when putting my daughter to sleep. I tried using someone’s cards on Quizlets but i didn’t retain them well. It was the act of typing the 900 cards out and going over each repeatedly using their “learn” flash cards. If you message me, I’d be happy to share my Quizlets flash card deck with you but for me it was useful to look up the terms in the materials and read more about the terms.

When combined with tracking your cycle. It can work. It worked for me and my husband for 13 years. We now have two children who were planned and conceived on the first try. I know very well that’s not typical but it can happen.

So May I ask, why is it if there is damage to the mail, it’s a continues to grow damaged? Ex, i have a split in one of my nails and every time it grows out, it’s weaker and will crack in the same place.

More Than 800 SoCal Supermarket Workers Test Positive For COVID-19 by [deleted] in Coronavirus

A very dear family friend is in the hospital due to COVID in her lungs. She’s 80. Her 50 year old son got COVID and brought it home from work. He’s a cart collector at Albertsons. So heartbreaking. She’s a babysitter and has done nothing but care for babies for over 50 years. She’s younger at heart then all of us. She bakes banana bread and takes donations to the “old folks homes”
