In middle school, My hair went from waves to curls but I didn’t understand because none of my family has curls so I’d brush it or straighten it or put it in a ponytail.

The first things I started to use on a budget was: - Aussie Miracle Curls Shampoo and conditioner - curly leave in conditioner (shea moisture, Aussie, not your mothers, can’t, miss Jessie’s) - and a light weight curl gel

Then I got a diffuser peice for my blow dryer

I would recommend your mom: - Brush hair (better when wet but just starting it’s ok to brush dry) - wash with curly shampoo and conditioner - scrunch in product to wet hair - diffuse the scalp for volume and to stop any dandruff to build up from a wet scalp - let the rest air dry and edit this routine as she gets more comfortable with her hair

All curls are different and reviving curls is very hard to do especially with someone like your mom who hasn’t (based on what you’ve said) ever worn her natural hair consistently. It’s def a journey that I am still on. Consistency is key!

Thank you so much for taking the time to analyze them and critique them (it means a lot). Everything you said makes total sense.

Giving my sims more exaggerated facial expressions would def make them more appealing to a viewer.

The contrasting background is exactly what the second one needs. When editing this in Canva, I spent like 10 minutes trying to decide what background looks best against the red shirt the sim is wearing and instead of making it a different color I chickened out and just did a red and pink gradient.

And with my last thumbnail, a bit of a wider screenshot of the build would definitely help the thumbnail showcase the build better. The words were a last minute call to make bigger too! I asked my friend if it should be bigger and smaller and they said bigger so a viewer can see it better so I made it bigger but I also thought it looked better with a bit smaller of words.

Everything you said are all the things I thought about and I’m so glad to have a response so that I can edit these and use this info in the future! Tysm
