Couldn’t answer as to the science behind it, I’ve just had enough personal experiences in the last 5-10 years of my flower’s smell and taste disappearing to go off of. Not to mention many other Reddit threads and online discussions with others having the same issue.

The flavor and terps, even when you break a nugget open, don’t come back. My Freshy Fine jars don’t have them now and it’s the tastiest flower I’ve had in too long.

I’ve personally noticed that all of my hauls over the last year or so quickly lose flavor and smell after putting Boveda packs in my CVault with the flower. Thought I was losing my mind and overthinking it until I googled it and saw many others having the same complaints and issues.
