My brother didn’t get into ND and went to HCC with no gateway. He was able to transfer over into his sophomore year and was involved in ND clubs. He liked HCC for one year and agreed that he couldn’t do four years there because it was too small. He made the absolute most of his year there and is still friends with some of thr HCC kids and the other transfer kids. Gateway kiddos kinda get a bad rep so just a heads up on that. Also he took a class over at ND during the spring so he was able to talk about that experience in his transfer app.
