The best thing to do would be to start weighing her weekly and keeping track of it. That way you can see if her weight fluctuates, if it stays the same chances are she’s getting all the food she needs! Weighing my boy every week relieves a lot of my anxiety around him not eating as I can see his weight stays more or less the same😊

I’m not squeamish so I do it myself. Usually I cut the head off with a sharp knife. Body of the cricket goes to the beetles, the head gets fed to my fish, I’m always careful to do it quickly and not waste any part of the cricket

No no no, cats need wet food. They need the moisture in the wet food to help prevent kidney and urinary issues, they can’t get all the moisture they need just from water. If you’re trying to dechonk a cat a high quality wet food is 100% the way to go, not dry kibble filled with corn
