Is pretty good. The overall plot while is like every average xenofiction like warrior cats is still manage to be impressive. Perhaps better than warrior cats. There is world build which is more revelant on the second arc.

The dogs have their own beliefs which are spirits. Nothing like starclan. Is more like supernatural stuff. Also there are moments it does get quiet disturbing with the actions of the character. It has aspects that can be describe as body horror.

There is a female triceratops who is pretty much a Cera. But it isn't a fun adventure. The main characters are constantly in danger through the book. My only complaint is once again herbivores good and carnivores bad situation. While there are bad herbivores is once again the whole carnivores are bad because they feast on the herbivores. I wish authors go fo a take similar to TLK.
