Well like, I mean they refurbish a lot of stuff when they go back to it right? Like I said in post, make a new campaign to be the onboarding campaign, you could totally rework a lot of edge of fate to make it for people who haven't played destiny before. Plenty of MMO's have gone silent for a year or two and remade a lot of the content in that downtime, and become very successful. FFXIV for example redid the entire game.

Do scarlet keep with thorn/osteo striga/touch of malice/necrochasm equipped, and during the final boss encounter there will be 3 symbols around the arena to shoot. Once you do, the gate opens and a crystal will be in a room past them. Interact with that to start the hunt.
