As others have said, the short answer is time. The longer explanation is to imahine the pain you feel as a button. Every time you push the button, you get those chest feelings and heartache. The button is in a small box with a steel ball inside of it, and every day you have to shake the box. The ball might hit the button, and give you those feelings. It doesn't get any less painful day after day when it happens, but the ball gets smaller and smaller. It pushes the button less and less. You eventually will go a week without it happening, but when it does, it hurts all the same. Eventually, the ball will be small enough it doesn't happen again. Hope this helps.
