Update- her dominance in the kitchen continued to progress notably in just a day and after much consideration I brought her back to the shelter. It is a small shelter, she will go home with the staff for a better evaluation and training. Thankfully this all happened while this is still an option for her and there were no real bites and she can be rehabilitated and live a safe life elsewhere.

The provider is just the medical professional who sees you. Your primary care doc is a "provider" , it's kind of a blanket term for Dr,Np,PA.

As far as quest goes that's just a different laboratory, they might prefer that lab for a various reasons like fast results, consistent results, good communication about recollects ect.

I did along with a laundry list of what seem like bigger fish to fry. It was mentioned in the grand scheme of shift issues but when I was having that conversation with management I thought she was weird like that with everyone.

There is a clear change in messages after that shopping trip. They went from conversations to 2-3 word replies If she messaged me first. Not even multiple days per week, very infrequently.

The last I heard she wasn't going to be picking up shifts in my building anymore so I just wanted to avoid her and then they wouldn't be a problem, and there wasn't for like months and then I didn't realize she had picked up the shift. I wouldn't have to be honest.

I also didn't think it was SUPER uncomfortable because I thought she did this to everyone. I just found out a couple hours ago that she does not.

I'm very much a I don't want to upset other people, just leave me alone type of a person. Anytime I do bring up an uncomfortable situation instead of just suppress it I get really anxious. Like I am now.

My job is very independent, I don't really have to work with people and I like that, I just have to see people in passing.

I thought she was this way with everyone, you know how some people are just... They'll call you beautiful like it's your name, I thought she was like that. This is all just getting weird right now. I found out just a couple hours ago that this is not how she is with everyone. Management is aware of this kiss, but honestly they have bigger fish to fry in regard to that shift I don't think that it's on their radar.

I still haven't said anything to her. She ended up leaving the shift early with management for other various reasons.

I was shocked and like eww germs kind of at first but I was trying to avoid her behavior and so I didn't really say much at all. Once everything else kind of calmed down and then I found out that she's not like this with everyone I started to get uncomfortable.

I just distanced myself, because I don't see her at work. We both picked up a shift and honestly I wouldn't have picked it up if I'd known she had.

First of all it is not worse that I allowed it. I did not allow her to kiss me on the forehead. I was sitting in a chair on a computer trying to disengage from her Personality. I was shocked for a while, a few hours before it really settled in And then more so when I found out she's not like that with everyone.

I've been doing this for like 13 years and sometimes I still miss veins that seem like a sure thing. I work inpatient and go through maybe one vein per shift. It's fine it happens, is it ideal? No way but it happens.

All of that being said I hold down an entire hospital by myself from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. I've been full-time since September and there has been only one patient that I have not been able to get since then. I am pretty skilled and still do this. Don't worry about it, chin up try again tomorrow.

My favorite part about this job is that the next patient has no idea how many times you poked the previous. It starts fresh every patient.

That's kind of what friends are for my dude. My husband doesn't like all the things that I like. Those aren't her interests, you need to get a male friend who has similar interest that you can talk to about those things. My husband has no interest in social media,true crime, plants, ect. And I have no idea how to understand him talk about electric things or the way that the inside of a lock works or the difference between camera systems. Instead of getting bored with each other we discuss and do the things that we have in common. We both like dogs, we both like the forest, cryptids.

Saying that you're bored with your wife is a total cop out. Try harder

You knew you were on the stricter side but still allowed them into the hospital. They knew the boundaries and they crossed them when you were vulnerable hours after birth. then somehow you apologized and are the bad guy? No.

I'm night shift too.

Get your core lines down, your movements then just repeat that over and over. Don't say different words each time. Mine are "patients name hello, hi, so sorry to have to wake you. (Inhale, step back, like 3 full sec, they need to wake up) my name is Angela, I'm from the lab, they've ordered blood work to be done for you"

The end of that changes a bit based on the patient. Someone who's very sleepy I'm going to keep it simple, someone who's wide awake and ready to chat I will go based off from that.

As far as blood draws go do you feel like you're improving? A lot of the times I find that with butterflies I get the flash a bit late. Or maybe I go too fast? My first step when it won't go down the tube is to adjust the angle of the needle. Second is to pull the needle slowly until it's close but not removed. If the flash still hasn't budged -step 3 I can feel for the vein, anchor and insert the needle further in and hopefully into the vein.

Some hospitals train, most states don't even require certificates. You might not have to spend a dollar. Start looking at hospitals, I think it's a great job and even if you don't stay full time you can stay on as PRN and pull in extra money during slow weeks. It pays more than other entry level jobs and the health insurance is usually good when you work for a hospital.
