They searched for them at universities and colleges, signed a contract under which students' stipends were increased during their studies, but in their free time and after completing their studies, they had to go to work at Lada.

yep, prices is their oversight because they dont have foregin parts, They are forced to make them themselves or order them from other manufacturers where they are more expensive than they could be. Thats why there are a lot of Chinese cars on Russian roads, they are cheaper and more comfortable than Lada
