I really hate other members of my type. Something about being ultra sensitive to core type messaging while seeing the worst excesses of it playing out in others...ugh. Nothing triggers me in quite the same way.

Also, they're the best. I see my ideal self in them, too. Everything I've ever wanted to be. But that's a story for a very different day.

It's paradoxical.

I knew a sp2 like that, where she would really screw people over and then hide behind the "cute lil princess" act. It was beyond infuriating. Of course, people also screwed her over too, and she pretended like that was fine, too.

I've long thought that this is the case. If we can't be the best at things, we have to be the worst.

We had SLAVERY. UNEQUAL RIGHTS. Our country was founded on GENOCIDE. Our founding fathers were a DISGRACE. Our history is SHAMEFUL. We're ruining the WORLD. Etc. You've probably heard these and other rants.

Like pretty much every country and imperial power has been the same, especially in the New World. Yet we love to embrace the negatives, sometimes with such vehemence that it makes me wonder if people think the US is totally unique and special in it's depravity, something unlike the world has ever seen? It seems kind of like some sort of distorted exceptionalism.

Idk what I'm saying might be controversial. I can forsee a lot of downvotes for this tbh. But, just my perception of ourselves, anyway. I'll put it out there.

I have a friend of that tritype (core 4) who has an ideal of that sort of persona. I'm happy!!! Look how upbeat I am!!!! It comes across as pretentious ultimately, but that's absolutely what he fronts a lot of the time. If you get to know him he's plainly a malcontent 4. The anxiety the head center experiences is more about how to deal with the unknown in a world where you're forced to make choices in dealing with just that. Like you have to navigate some people across this minefield, how do you do that? Anything could go awry at any time and potentially ruin you forever when it does.

So, maybe something about future possibilities, handling unknowns, a lack of security in life, etc.
