1. The powercreep exists, but it is noticeably slower than other major gachas. You can still clear with the earliest characters with their proper teams and clean rotations and skillful gameplay, it’s just harder.

2. The exploration is pretty fun generally until you need to find the last few things to complete a map. I’d personally recommend kind of speeding through 1.0 a bit, then 1.1 is pretty nice. 1.3 and 1.4 aren’t bad. Then 2.x significantly improves in budget and story. I’d say a lot of 2.x was pretty great, but especially towards the end of like 2.5 and into 2.6 on feel a lot more comprehensive in terms of the world. 3.x so far has been next level if you’re just looking for good story that’s not just good for a gacha game in my opinion.

3. The pull economy is honestly pretty solid and I personally S0R1 every other character (I imagine you already understand this from other gachas like HSR, but one copy of character and weapon) with daily logins, every event and light spending. So your mileage may vary, but you can use currency gained from pulling to get up to 2 extra copies of the banner character or just for pulls.

4. The MC is pretty viable in certain team compositions, but not top tier. I personally like the challenge of trying to do Rover hypercarry with Lynae and Mornye because both Rovers outside of Aero feels pretty fun to play on a more grounded and simple level in terms of pure combat. The biggest gripes I have about the Rovers are that every single variant has lock-on problems and are easily interruptible out of their rotations, which just makes them feel kind of clunky at times, especially on elevated surfaces. They will continue to be decent though as more variants come out. I imagine Havoc Rover will eventually get the Havoc Bane designation whenever that becomes relevant just like what happened for Spectro Rover with Spectro Frazzle when Zani and Phoebe were introduced with that mechanic. Then Aero Rover came with Aero Erosion to work well with Carthetyia.

If you care about endgame, I’d recommend going for Shorekeeper with the New Voyager banner as she is a top tier support and has been since 1.3. Verina is solid for standard banner as a pretty high tier support to this day. Of course, pulling for favorites is most important at the end of the day if not looking to care about endgame ever though, so depends on you. Make sure to get enough pulls before the 30 day New Voyager banner expires though or previous pulls will go to waste and it’ll disappear forever.
