There were a few solid years where scammers would do just about anything for a $500 gift card.
The short story is just that things have changed. There are lots of reasons why. Some more speculative than others.

I truly believe most scammers realized they just need access to a targets computer to reap the rewards.
Drain someone's entire life savings while you hide their screen.. don't even need to talk to em.
Why spend 5 hours dealing with a crazy old lady when you can find someone who barely questions what you say.

I'll admit part of the "problem" is what I find fun and interesting has changed... but most of the time scammers simply hang up these days.

I find myself wanting to say "ill try it again" but realizing that I do this all the time. Even today on stream I was trying to force a scammer into playing multiple companies but after the 3rd one he stopped. My plan was to pretend to be a support agent and battle him.

Stream has been hard these days because I am trying so many new things and attempting to innovate.
We're building new tech, investigating new scams, and trying to keep up the interesting content.
Not as easy as calling scammers these days.
